Nestled in a peaceful setting just a short 20-minute drive from the coast, this place offered the perfect balance of tranquility and convenience. The surroundings were serene, with beautiful natural views, birdsong in the mornings, and total calm at night—ideal for relaxing and unplugging. The space itself was spotless, tastefully decorated, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our hosts were warm and welcoming. Whether we were lounging on the porch with a cup of coffee or heading out for a beach day, we felt completely at ease Highly recommend for anyone craving a peaceful retreat with easy access to the ocean. We’ll definitely be back!

This was our second stay at this house. I highly recommend staying here due to the very responsive and friendly host Lindsay as well as the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere of the home. The amenities including higher end kitchen appliances, outdoor shower and screened in deck make this Lake house a perfect vacation home. This house is also very convenient due to its location. It’s about 20 minutes from both Oak Island and Southport and about 10 minutes from Lowe’s Foods, Starbucks, and multiple shops and restaurants.

Property was very clean. Area was peaceful. Nice neighbors. Quick and easy 5-6 minute walk to the beach.

Dune Daddy was such a wonderful, memorable experience. The cottage is decorated beautifully and being right on the beach with an outside shower and lovely porch to sit on in the mornings and evenings was such a joy. I highly recommend this rental and hope to return there again in the future!

We were impressed how comfortable her place was for us. We were moving from New Jersey to Leland and had a gap between closings and needed a comfortable place for an 8 night stay and it was absolutely perfect. Its a beautiful comfortable home and we couldn't have asked for anything more. Extremely happy with our choice of accomodations. Highly recommend. Beautiful neighborhood and pool area too. Just lovely.

Our host was super responsive and helpful with any questions we had during booking and the duration of our stay. The home and property is beautiful and is a reasonable distance from downtown and the beach. My family enjoyed the huge windows in the main living space, fishing, paddle-boating, and using the fire pit to make s'mores! The layout provided enough space for our family and privacy. Our host even thought about deep woods bug spray which came in handy when we were fishing around the lake on the property. (Super thoughtful and much needed) We can't wait to book again in the future.

This was the perfect place for our family fishing getaway. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet and close to many other lakes, as well as the one in the backyard.

I brought my toddler to his first-ever trip to the beach at The Crusty Crab. I couldn't have picked a better location. Anna and her co-hosts were incredibly friendly and responsive to any questions, providing local recommendations and a Gift Card to The Veggie Wagon, such a cute (within walking distance!) place to relax, listen to some live music and get some easy pop-in-the-oven meals and delicious treats. The place was in pristine condition and includes a kitchen, bathroom, two bedrooms, living room; deck; and, washer/dryer downstairs (where you can also find cornhole, beach chairs, beach wagon and such); and, a grill and picnic table outside, just up from the outdoor shower. Little details such as bedside mints, sound machines, makeup towels were appreciated! We accidentally broke a couple mugs and Anna was very gracious about it. You are steps away from Spartanburg Beach Access, making planning time at the beach so incredibly easy. We absolutely plan on coming back! Thank you Anna!

This was our third stay with Tony and as always, the whole process was seamless and stress free. He made sure we had all of the instructions we needed for check in, using the property and check out. It’s especially nice to be able to bring our dog with us and have a nice fenced area to use. Our stay was wonderful as always and we’ll be back for Christmas vacation.

This was the Best Airbnb we have ever rented, and we have rented from Airbnb well over 30 times. The property was immaculate, the house was newly renovated and was absolutely beautiful. Everything was extremely clean and well organized, they had everything you needed to have a relaxing weekend on a huge piece of property. The lake was well stocked with fish, we caught and released well over a 200 fish in 4 days; catching a huge variety of fish from Bass, crappie, blue Gil, Shad, etc. The dock house and dock were new and made fishing the pond very comfortable with the benches. We had an absolute blast, thank you Robert for having us. We will be back.

Melanie and was wonderful host and the house was perfect for our family. It was better than the photos. We loved having coffee on the porch and watching the wildlife(squirrels, cardinals and deer). Great location! We would definately stay there again.

Beautiful modern house, good size for my family of 5 members. Really nice neighborhood, new, clean and peaceful. The house is equipped with all necessary amenities. I can still call it the perfect house, even tho two things bothered me, I was not able to cook home made flour tortillas for my son's (one flew from Ohio the other is in active duty in NC, we are from Texas) For some reason the stove didn't heat up high enough to cook em. Second, I have a small Shih Tzu ,he fit thru the back bar fenced, thank God I found him. Not the hostess fault, it is fenced, but not small dog approve.

What an amazing space! My family and I celebrated Thanksgiving here and It was amazing. From the table to accommodate my large family to the massive tv to watch sports/movies. My family truly enjoyed every moment! Yelena responded to every single request! We enjoyed it so much we extended another night and she responded on Thanksgiving Day immediately to the request. Would recommended 100/100 times. We will be back! Thanks so much!

We loved our stay at Emily’s place in Carolina Beach. The home was thoughtfully equipped with all the essentials and had a welcoming layout that made our stay seamless and comfortable. We especially loved the screened-in porch, along with the spacious backyard, which featured a deck and a convenient outdoor shower, ideal after a day at the beach. One of the standout perks was the shed stocked with bicycles for both adults and kids. Every morning, I kicked off the day with a scenic bike ride around Carolina Beach, stopping for coffee along the way. The provided beach gear included an umbrella, chairs, boogie boards, a cooler, and a handy cart to make the quick 10-minute walk to the shore effortless. From start to finish, this rental exceeded expectations, and I wholeheartedly recommend it. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!

A great location that's less than a ten minute drive from both downtown and the beach. The neighborhood is safe, peaceful, and quiet. The home is pristine, cozy, and just emanates tranquility. I got some of the best sleep I've ever had. This and its proximity to attractions made having an action packed day in Southport effortless.

The home was beautiful and perfect for my girls and I. It fit all 6 of us comfortably, was very clean, and a relatively close drive to the beach. We really enjoyed our weekend trip for Memorial Day Weekend!

Our family really enjoyed our stay. A park and lake is walking distance. Just about any store you need is a 5 minute drive away from the home. The beach is only 17 minutes away! (That was the best part) the neighborhood was quiet. A little too quiet! lol the game room was chill and the kids loved it. The host responds so fast like they just sit and wait for your inquiries lol! Overall it’s a dope spot to get for a small crew beach trip. Definitely will book again!!!!!

This place was the perfect get away for us. We stayed during memorial weekend and expected a but of noise on the lake from people celebrating. It was the complete opposite. It was so peaceful and quiet. We spent our days out and about and then the later afternoon and night we sat on the back porch enjoying the great weather and quiet of the lake. My Marine and I loved it. We will certainly stay here again. It was a pleasure meeting you and talking with you. We totally felt at home here.

AMAZING house in a great location!!! The home was very well decorated and had very comfortable linens and towels. Caitlyn is a very thoughtful host and left us snacks, beach chairs, beach towels, and sunscreen. She also let us check in early and was very responsive to messages. I highly recommend staying in this Airbnb!!!
