lovely weekend away .nice and relaxing free range eggs and onion chutney were a must the pigs loved a back scratch and belly rub. Martin gave us clear instructions on the public footpaths .....with directions to local pub. would highly recommend Sugar Brook Retreat

We stayed at Shaun's cottage for two nights as we were attending a wedding at nearby Thorpe Gardens. Shaun had provided us with very clear instructions for check in and finding his place; we were driving from Birmingham and had no problems with our arrival experience. Shaun's cottage was very clean, fresh and tidy. The kitchen and living room were very cosy and provided a lovely respite for us. The bedroom and bathroom were also very clean with little clutter. The cottage has a lovely outlook to a garden space, it's a perfect hideaway for anyone looking for a country escape. Unfortunately we weren't staying for too long so we didn't get to explore the area, but would very much consider returning to the cottage for a holiday in the area.

Lovely apartment, clean, modern and very tastefully decorated with comfy sofa and beds. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook. We managed to park out the front with no issues. It is Situated across from the park and was quiet but still a stones throw from the bustling high street. You are spoilt with many restaurants and take aways to choose from. There are supermarkets locally too. Went to the Fort shopping park which was 15 mins drive. We even attended the St George fete on the Croft which was really nice. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it for its convenience to the amenities. Thank you Ben
