A delightful stay! The waterfront cottage is located near various amenities. A nice shopping center. The train station is a 10 min walk away, so you are within 20 minutes in Amsterdam and Zaanse Schans 15 minutes. The Strand, Volendam and Alkmaar are all a short distance away. You have to take care of breakfast yourself, but for delicious sandwiches you can go to the local bakery, which is within walking distance. Upon arrival, you will find various drinks in the fridge. In short, a wonderful accommodation!

Kenneth is very kind and warm-hearted. The accommodation is completely same as the description, which is cozy, clean and quiet. I would like to say the position is extremely good. The place is near to Zaandam station-just a 10-minute walk. So it is quite convenient to get anywhere. I highly recommend this place to stay.

Super nice hosts with great communication and willing to help where they can 😊 I think for the price it’s a bit too far outside of Amsterdam but still a good alternative if you don’t want to spend nights in overflowing hostels!

Warmest hosts I ever met! Breakfasts have variations everyday and it was delicious. Location was peaceful with beautiful view. They provide everything we needed. Every night I felt great to be back in the house. This made a very important memory of my trip in Netherlands.

If you are planning to travel to Amsterdam, I highly recommend this place! First of all, if you buy the Amsterdam Region ticket, you can save money because the train station near the house is included in the area that you can reach with this ticket so that you don't have to buy extra one. Also, the bus that connects the house to the train station comes frequently and it's not far from the house. There are two nice and cute dogs and the host is very friendly. The bathroom is tidy and the bed is very comfortable! (so sometimes I overslept haha) Thank you again Willem for your help, À la procaine :)
