If you would like to travel to our local historic city of Exeter, There are train stations in our local villages of Whimple & Feniton both of which have parking. Approximately 20 minute drive from the picturesque beaches along the Jurassic coast.

The Piggery is a one bedroom, self contained cottage. Located in an area of outstanding natural beauty in rural East Devon, the coastline and stunning beaches are only 15 minutes away. Located on our working farm, you will be secluded in the comfort of the pod, looking out at views of the East Devon countryside. A wood burner is perfect for a cosy winter’s night, or to enjoy those summer evenings there is a large decking. We are situated perfectly within walking distance of the South West Coast path to explore the picturesque coast on foot.

Well behaved dogs are welcome on the ground floor only. Please don’t plan on leaving your dog alone.

And Sidmouth, on the Jurassic Coast, is just a 4 mile drive. A few days at Filcombe will leave you relaxed, refreshed and keen to come back!

Stylish Guest House in East Devon

Enjoy the Devonshire countryside from our family home! Higher Allercombe Guest House is an extension of our house, meaning we live under the same roof, but you have sole occupancy of the guest house, separated by a locked internal door, separate private entrance and outdoor eating area. It has king size and double ensuite bedrooms and a superking or twin ensuite room. There are internet TVs in each bedroom and the lounge with Amazon Prime, Disney + and good Wifi.

Pls note no smoking in the property, if guests smoke inside the house or conservatory there will be a charge of £200. Ty! Tea, coffee, provided.
