North Sea air and sauna! Our detached vacation home "Dat Melkhus" was built in 1870 and is located in a small settlement with a quiet neighborhood. Here, at the turn of the century, butter was made by hand for the surrounding communities. Today, the once small house has been expanded to 140 square meters of living space and has been lovingly renovated by us since 2022. The Friesensteern is a lovingly restored, listed thatched roof house in a secluded location – together with the separately rentable school house, it is located on a wharf in the middle of the wide landscape of Eiderstedt. No traffic, no windmills, no electricity poles – only pastures, sky and North Frisian tranquility. Hidden places on the large property invite you to read, dream and breathe deeply. A retreat for those who seek nature, silence and something special.

The house is 124 m² and has 3 bedrooms (2 double beds, 2 single beds), 2 bathrooms (both with shower and toilet, on the upper floor even with bathtub and sauna). On the first floor there is also a fully equipped kitchen-living room with a spacious dining area and a living area with a fireplace. All bedrooms and the living room have smart TVs. The attic invites you to play foosball or read a book. Outside, there is a furnished terrace on the first floor and a balcony on the second floor.

The (semi-) island is accessible via a causeway. The lütte Reethuus was already mentioned in 1803 and has a very special charm. The house has just been renovated with a lot of love and you will find space for up to 4 people. Nordstrand offers many leisure activities: cycling, Nordic walking, kite surfing, swimming, inline skating ... and much more. From the harbor you can reach the Halligen and neighboring islands (Pellworm, Amrum, Föhr and Sylt) by boat.

Look forward to a bright and high-quality furnished 90 m ²apartment on the upper floor of an old farmhouse, right on the historic dyke. The quiet single location, the wide view over the fields and the private sauna make the dyke oasis an ideal retreat for couples, families and nature lovers. The sea or the nearest swimming spot is 5-10 minutes away by car. Meldorf is the nearest town, about 10 minutes by car, where, for example, shopping can be done.

Lovingly and with care, we have furnished our thatched cottage - in the hope that you and your family and / or friends will feel at home! A newly covered, local thatched roof, the restoration of the old dormer and a careful approach to the expansion in order to preserve as much as possible - that was important to us and characterizes this unique building. Unfortunately, we are not suitable for party groups!

Behind one of the bedrooms, there is an additional converted sofa room, through which a second bathroom is accessible. The two guests sleeping in the bed there (140 x 200 cm) can use this bathroom, while all other guests use the downstairs bathroom, so you do not have to walk through the sofa room. - Pet allowed payment 30EUR per pet - Towels payment 42EUR per stay
