Use the apartment as a starting point to explore the Harz for a few days. The apartment is in the middle of the old center and is therefore somewhat difficult to reach by car and you are not allowed to park there. Loading and unloading is possible and you can park for free nearby. You will receive clear instructions from Renate! After the first night, she sent a message asking if everything was to my liking and if I had found any problems in the apartment, which I had not, but it was very kind of her. All in all, had a great time in Werningerode!

In addition, the location is central, easily accessible and private. It's a few minutes' walk to the center. However, some caution is advised, the footpaths are narrow and the locals hardly pay attention to children. A small tip is the "Orchidea" restaurant. Upscale Asian food at a very fair price. In general, the city is totally ok in terms of price. Despite the tourist orientation, you never feel ripped off. We had two very nice days. And we felt very welcome.
