Family-friendly holiday rentals in Werkendam

We stayed in the apartment for a weekend and felt very comfortable. With the bikes you could easily reach the nearby metro station and we had a good time in Amsterdam. The landlords were very friendly and always easy to reach. I highly recommend this place for Amsterdam stays.

We had a wonderful time with the family. The accommodation is as beautiful as in the photos, super well-equipped (especially for toddlers) and the environment very pleasant. We particularly enjoyed the fresh eggs in the fridge, and the Norwegian bath. Gaelle and her partner were very attentive to our well-being. And we also discovered a very beautiful region. Already want to go back!:)

Very nice space and very quit. Gunter welcomed us very kindly and with a nice drink. Jacuzzi was very nice. Thank you for your hospitality Gunter and if we are nearby again we will definitely come back.

What a fun experience! And what a terrific host! In a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. To say we got to stay on a houseboat in Amsterdam is always going to be a fun memory! But note, it is definitely a boat. You must be fully able bodied to access the boat and get around comfortably inside. The kitchen is suitable for snacks. And as with most European AirBnBs, bring your own bath products.

Amazing place if you appreciate peace and nature

Nice apartment with lovely jacuzzi in a closed part of the garden. Very private and wonderful for a weekend away from the busy daily life. Nice kitchen, good bed and good shower. Even a washing machine (not used but still).

A real gem and oasis of peace with a good energy. The location was even more beautiful than expected based on the photos and the unexpected eggs as a gift for the kids as well as the unexpected visit of the horses and the dog and borrowing dog made everything a nice memory. The kids would like to come back, so we'll definitely plan that. See you soon enough. And oh yes, I'll come and pick up the stuff I forgot... 😀

What a dream place! From the first contact, everything went very smoothly and cordially. Fareen is a warm, attentive host who had prepared everything with care and attention to detail. The communication was fast, friendly and personal – we felt welcome right away. The cottage is cozy, atmospheric and surrounded by peace and nature. I’m emotional about leaving this absolute treasure of a rental- wish we could stay forever. We booked Darley’s on the recommendation of well-traveled local friends who literally *moved* to Hilversum after staying here and told us it was the best Airbnb of all time. (These friends also know that I’m finicky about vacation rentals and generally prefer hotels.) I’m SO glad we listened to them. This is, without a doubt, the most beautiful, well-appointed, lavish, thoughtfully stocked, gorgeously furnished, comfortable Airbnb ever, and now I’m probably ruined for all others. It could have been half as incredible for twice the price - we’d still be delighted. I’ve never felt more at home while traveling. We had all the privacy, comfort, provisions, fresh flowers and fruit, random fun perks, great water pressure, immaculate cleanliness, inspiring corners, luxurious linens, and other copious supplies we didn’t know we needed. Thank you, Marielise, for the Airbnb experience of a lifetime. WOW.

What a beautiful and inviting lake home very close to Gouda and all local transportation. It was fast travel to Rotterdam and only an hour from Amsterdam / both were easy access through the local train station Gouda Gowervelle. We enjoyed all the running and biking paths along the lake and canals. Shopping and sightseeing in Gouda was fun as well! (Enjoyed the cheese museum which is perfect for kids of all ages. ) The lake house was a perfect setting, neighbors are friendly and quiet and the home is spacious enough for 4 or small families and it’s simply beautiful . Enjoyed!! Great hosts and very responsive! Highly recommend.

Marja's place is magical! surrounded by water, farms and fields, perfect for nature lovers. We loved it: Take walks with our three kids with the canoes on loan from Marja and fishing right in front of the house. The proximity to Delft, a city for which we had a real favorite , we really recommend renting bikes and making the bike paths around the city to discover the region . The house looks directly onto a bike path but we didn't mind. The view of the water is so beautiful and offers amazing sunsets. Need to Know: The house is small but sufficient for 5, however you should know that there is only one toilet located directly in the bathroom. The boiler placed behind the wall of the master bedroom can make noise at night, on Marja's advice we turned off the heating at night and this guarantees you peaceful nights. We will be back!!

Mrs. Trienie's hospitality was like a dream. She greeted us very nicely, showed us around the cottage and offered various attractions. We are very grateful for such hospitality and kindness. The area is beautiful - full of greenery, rural animals only complemented this wonderful landscape. The cottage is very cozy and clean. The place had everything we needed for everyday functioning. We are enchanted by everything we have seen in the area and we will definitely return for, I hope, a longer stay. Thank you!

We had a very nice time! You can see how much love was put into the accommodation and the property! We felt comfortable right away and can only recommend the accommodation! The area is very quiet but still you can get to the supermarket, a restaurant or the beach in a short time by car. There was a travel cot, high chair and toys for our child without us asking for it. We were very happy about that! We will be happy to come back!

We were on a houseboat in Amsterdam for years, but the owner now lives there himself and no longer rents it out. So we looked for an alternative in the "little sister" Utrecht and ended up with Pauline and Raymond. The boat is in a suburb of Utrecht, but is easy to reach by bus (runs every 15 min) and is very nice in nature. There were four of us and we had plenty of space, we could sit well both below and on deck, the bathroom is huge for a houseboat, the beds are great, the kitchen is well equipped. The only downside for us was that we couldn't find a decent café or restaurant in Nieuwegein, but after all, we wanted to explore Utrecht, and the location is good for that. We liked it so much that we will probably go back soon. Many thanks to Pauline and Raymond!

Lotte's house is simply perfect. Very close to Amsterdam and the airport, but still in a calm, quiet environment. The breakfast was always varied and very tasty. Our little boys loved the chickens. :) Lotte and her husband were incredibly sweet and helpful. We felt great, we would come back anytime! If I could, I would give 10 stars! :) Thank you for everything Lotte!

A great apartment with a great view of the river and harbour. The old town of Antwerp is within walking distance, lots of culture and architecture to marvel at, a great city. Would come back anytime.

Great accommodation and great hosts. We had a lot of fun and felt comfortable. The accommodation was accessible by boat and we could go shopping by boat. It was a real adventure. The accommodation and the pool were clean. Everything was fine for us ☀️

A week of relaxation among the bustling birds. In rainy weather, there is plenty of space inside and in fine weather, a very pleasant garden to sit in. There is plenty to do in the area, shops are close by. Everything is available to cook for yourself. Baking pizza in the pizza oven was also fun to do. Definitely recommended. We felt at ease.

Thank you so much LIyn for your kind hospitality, the current toasted bread was prepared for us at check in in the afternoon and it was delicious.The room is tidy and spotless, the kitchen is fully equipped, the room we stayed in has a large garden, full of purple flowers, walk to the supermarket and the forest park, it is very convenient, quiet at night, made us enjoy the perfect vacation.Totally recommend it.

The cottage is on a small-scale green park, where you can go with your dog. In fact, it was the Pentecost weekend and I have never seen so many dogs. All in good shape and only friendly dogs. With a few minutes' walk, you can be in the forest, where - in some places - the dog can also be off the lead. There is also a communal swimming pool that you can use. The cottage is comfortable, the bed is good and also in a nice place where you have no view. Communication with the hostess, Jacq, is perfect. She responds immediately to any question. Thank you for the nice days.

There were six of us on a family holiday with two kids and grandma and grandpa. We had a great time at Karin's house. It is perfectly equipped, very clean and lovingly furnished. The park offers many activities, but not everything is described as on the homepage (e.g. electric cars for kids are not in operation). We were in the off-season in May and there was already quite a lot of activity in the park. If you are looking for peace and solitude, this is not the place for you. It was perfect for us with the kids. The beach is fantastic. Would love to come back!
