This lovely older home is only 12 - 15mins drive to Wellington CBD, and located in a quiet and safe neighbourhood. Pop down to the local coffee shop, spend time exploring native bush-walks and mountain bike tracks, unwind in our outdoor bath or just spend time in the house and garden enjoying our lovely semi private outlook. Tiny Inner City Cottage

Cute and quirky 1890s Cottage on the city fringe. A 15ish min walk to the heart of the city or Oriental Bay. A nice little private courtyard with BBQ & a little balcony off the bedroom where you can look out at the neighbouring houses and beyond. Light bfast included. The bathroom is OUTSIDE across the courtyard. The stairs to the bedroom are narrow and steep. Gary my cat stays, let me know if you'd like to feed him, he's super friendly. 3rd guest can stay on the cosy day bed/couch

I highly recommend Sally's place, the Griffin Inn, to anyone wishing to stay in tranquil surroundings in the Porirua area. It's on the north side of beautiful Tītahi Bay, with an amazing clifftop walk just up the hill for you and / or your dogs. It's a short walk to the beach itself. Sally place is a separate small house set beside the family home, and despite the name is not an inn as such but rather a dedication to her mum and the family name. It is immaculate, cozy, well presented, tucked away in a sheltered little oasis and has a nice covered outside area for relaxing. Sally is a wonderful, friendly and open-hearted host and she made us feel very welcome indeed (myself and my dogs). If Sally is not onsite her daughter Kim will look after you to the same standard, and her son Dave might even look after your dogs if you need (he runs a doggy daycare business). Highly recommended for singles, couples, small families and people with pooches. Would stay again for sure.

My stay at the Homezi house was very good. The location of the house is incredible, you have Mount Victoria on one side and the city center very close by. The house is very cozy and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again if I came back to Wellington.

The stay in Chris's room was impeccable. The bed was very comfortable. The room and bathroom were extremely clean. Very well located in one of the best neighborhoods in Wellington, a calm and safe place. Plus: there was even coffee and water in the room. Mr. Chris and his wife are very polite and friendly, they welcomed me very well.

Staying with Nitisha and Abhi was a great experience. They are very kind, open to share their home and spend time with guests, and helpful in every respect. Plus their small dog Oreo will make you feel like home. The house is away from the city, up the hill and has an awesome view. You are 5 minutes walk away from the entrance to an amazing national park. This is a great place for people who like nature and quiet and want to get away from the city, but at the same time is very well connected to it. I would totally recommend it!
