Quiet, private, rural - yet only 15 minutes from Wellington. Elmwood is a working farm with a newly renovated large farmhouse. Stephen, your host, lives and works on the property. He can introduce you to the friendly alpacas, and provide carrots for feeding. Elmwood is a short walk from entrances to Belmont regional park, and a short car ride to Takapu train station if you want an easy trip into town for a match or show. The house gets great sun while the regenerating bush guarantees privacy.

We offer a warm modern self-contained spacious one-bedroom unit, with option to hire a paddock and stable to bring your best friend away on holiday with you.... "Now you can actually have a holiday in the city with your best friend next door". Only half an hour drive to central Wellington, 15 minutes to Johnsonville. Family and fur babies friendly place, with golf course, mountain bike and bridle tracks next door, bush walks, a grass dressage arena. We can also arrange horse riding/lessons.

You won't believe your luck in this private and lush little Brooklyn haven. Beautifully restored with loads of character, this 1940s art deco gem is only a 5 minute walk from the charming Brooklyn village and a 10 minute drive from the city. You have all of Wellington available to you, with the CBD down the hill in one direction and the wild and beautiful south coast in the other. Spacious, sunny house in Wellington

My sunny, quiet home is close to the city (12 minute drive or 20 minute bus ride), it's a 3 bedroom house, which comfortably sleeps 4. Kid friendly. Ideal for a family with 2 kids. Close to zoo, Wellington Hospital & Island Bay. There are two resident cats called Dusky and Joey. They are both friendly and fine with kids, but if cats aren’t your thing this isn’t the place for you. They’ll let themselves in and out of the house but need feeding twice a day.

My stay at the Homezi house was very good. The location of the house is incredible, you have Mount Victoria on one side and the city center very close by. The house is very cozy and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again if I came back to Wellington.

Very good stay in this house/hostel! You feel like home! The beds was clean, you have a lot of facilities and the localisation is very nice. The host is very reactive and you can extend your stay easily. Everything was perfect, just if I have to say one thing it’s we need one more bathroom for all the people who live inside. I completely recommend this place. 😊

A Hidden Gem for Digital Nomads! I had an exceptional stay at this guesthouse, where comfort and safety were top-notch! The perfect haven for remote workers, the outside room is a fantastic spot to stay productive. Conveniently located, bus no. 2 stops nearby, providing easy access to Wellington Airport, major supermarkets, the Te Papa National Museum, and the beautiful Zealandia Wildlife Sanctuary. What truly sets this guesthouse apart is the owners' extraordinary hospitality. They go above and beyond to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience. Had a great stay here. Quiet, safe neighborhood that I felt comfortable walking back to at night; about 10 mins from the busiest bar streets. The other guests were respectful and interesting to chat with. The dual kitchens, laundry, and bathrooms made it easy to live around others. I’d love to come back!
