Even when relaxing inside, you feel as if you are in the middle of the garden thanks to the large and plentiful windows surrounding you. The only sounds we heard were the birds, who were also enjoying garden. Camille is welcoming and kind and has truly created a serene and lovely space fo repose. we absolutely loved Chantelise's cottage. It was our first flight with our 7 month old and the space was perfect. Our son lived the micro farm. Such a beautiful space. We will be visiting again!

This cottage is a hidden delight nearthe Oakland/Emoryville boarder. The colorful walls add beauty and spice to the well selected artwork and furnishings. It was quieter than our own home which is in a smaller city.

This apartment has a lovely garden, which makes a stay very special. People should know that the apartment does not provide much space for cooking and clothes, especially for two guests, since it is just a tiny house. Raquel is very supportive, friendly, helps where she can very quickly and is flexible with the check-in and check-out times, which helped us a lot. It also great that a washer and dryer is included.

Joel’s place was great! The bathroom… *chef’s kiss*! It’s very peaceful, if there was anyone upstairs I didn’t hear one footstep. If you’re a bird fan go outside in the morning and you’ll get a treat! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice spacious quiet place to rest (but close enough to the hustle and bustle if you want it).

My family and I enjoyed staying here during part of our California vacation! The house has beautiful views, and the house itself is modern, clean, and comfortable. We have no complaints and would absolutely stay here again!

When we entered Mary Lee’s backyard where the unit is located, we were instantly pleased with how beautiful and well landscaped it is. The studio is well built, with attention to detail and the use of quality materials. The décor was also pleasant and well thought out. In addition, we were satisfied with the fact that they provide 100% cotton towels and linen for the bed. The kitchen was well stocked with stainless steel cookware and everything we needed. Mary Lee and her husband David were friendly and responsive to all our requests. We would be happy to stay at their place again.

My wife and I recently stayed at HiC and Jeff’s charming unit. The thoughtful details made our stay special, with an incredibly comfortable bed for a great night's sleep. All the amenities, local recommendations, and small touches ensured a relaxing getaway. The beautiful outdoor areas among the redwood trees provided a peaceful retreat to unwind. HiC was welcoming and attentive, making our stay exceptional. We would definitely return to this lovely unit and recommend it for anyone seeking a serene escape in nature!

Loved my stay! It was the perfect home base while exploring the Bay Area. Felt super safe—especially as a woman traveling alone—to be behind the main house, a locked gate, and with my own personalized entrance code. The space had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Although my partner and I initially stayed here for practical reasons, we had such a delightful time we agreed we would enjoy returning here just to revisit the beautiful surroundings and the kindness of the host. Although the space, as advertised, is ideal for individuals, it was also really quite comfortable for a couple used to traveling and with a focus on study, meditation or career. From the stunning sunrises set to a chorus of beautiful birdsong to the hospitality of the host, our stay here was a great experience and we hope to return one day, just to have the opportunity to sit in this lovely and serene garden overlooking the beautiful valley and the hills beyond.

We have our new favorite place to stay in at Walnut Creek. This place is in the nicest of neighborhoods and walkable to amazing restaurants in the downtown area. Steve is the best communicator and his recommendations were all wonderful! Everything was neat, clean, and fully stocked. Great to have laundry on site and the set-up of everything we needed was perfect. Loved this little backhouse cottage!

The apartment is ideally located for visiting Stanford and is in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by trees and flowers, and lots of birds. The host is very friendly and responsive
