Perfect stay! Very tasteful and comfortable. Beautiful setting in the hills, mid century architecture and decor. Roomy, peaceful indoor/outdoor space. Nice bed and linens, shower pressure. Lots of windows for light and shades for dark and was cool on a very hot day. The kitchen is equipped for simple food prep so good to plan accordingly. I heard occasional activity from the hosts living on the floor above the flat but it wasn’t disruptive. As noted, you may hear coyotes howl, which I considered a treat. Hiking trails minutes away was a draw for me and proximity to urban conveniences. Experienced, thoughtful and courteous hosts made everything easy and enjoyable.

Another great stay at Kay Marie and Gerald’s place! We returned for a second stay due to the beautiful space and perfect location. We love the walkability to everything you could need — grocery, coffee, restaurants, movie theater, clothing stores, nail salons, laundromats, literally everything! You can also head out the door and take a peaceful neighborhood walk, admiring all the local flora. Choose your adventure: flat roads, small hills, or very hilly. Kay Marie and Gerald are friendly, responsive, communicative hosts. We’ll surely be back again.

This is a great place to stay in Berkeley! It is close to downtown Berkeley (with great food) and the University. It is also a near a BART station (which I used to get to Oracle Park! ) Shannon was also super accommodating and understanding of my situations and for that I truly appreciate it! Tysm! Highly recommended for OOMPH students at UC Berkeley, super convenient and near the building where your classes take place. Favorite food place so far: Cholita Linda Will come back here again! Cara's place was perfect! It's in a beautiful spot in the Berkeley hills. The apartment is spacious, well-decorated, and comfortable. The kitchen was (more than!) fully stocked and the apartment had anything one could need. Cara provided useful detailed instructions about the apartment and was around in case anything came up. I loved my stay and hope to be back sometime soon!

This was definitely one of my favorite Airbnbs I have stayed at so far. Beautiful location, great communication with hosts, the space was unique and clean. I always stay at Airbnb's when I'm traveling... this one exceeded all of my expectations! Mike's place is paradise. The views are phenomenal and the little coastal town of Pacifica is welcoming and comfortable. They recommended lovely hikes and places to eat. (Devil's slide hike was spectacular and make sure you check out Soul Grind Cafe!) I can't wait to visit again next year!!!

We loved staying at Laura’s place! It was very cute and cozy - the perfect space for the two of us. She supplied all the essentials and more. The backyard was absolutely beautiful, especially when lit up at night. The home was located in a safe neighborhood and within walking distance to many stores and restaurants. Highly recommend this place to stay!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The view of the water was amazing to wake up to, lots of wildlife, and felt very private. The studio is clean and charming and has plenty of kitchenware despite not having a full kitchen! Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay for 8 days at this little garden retreat. Angel was a great on site host and accommodated any of my asks very quickly. The studio was perfect for me as a solo traveler and the gardens were a lovely respite to all the hubbub of my week in the bay. Loved chatting with the chickens in the morning and even got a couple eggs. Perfect for a laid back traveler who wants a little oasis close to Bart. Will definitely stay again and telling all my friends about it! Thank you!

It was a great spot for a one-week visit to the area. It's a quiet neighborhood with views of the Bay and beyond. Blake Garden is just a three-minute walk away, and it was beautiful in May. We spotted local wildlife in the area (mostly when driving home at night): deer, raccoons, and a downhill neighbor seems to have a skunk family living in their driveway. The unit itself is perfect for a couple, and the sofa bed was comfortable for a kid of any size. The shared laundry room was available and convenient. We agree with others who have noted that the in-wall space heater was a little loud. This would not normally be a problem for us, as the droning fan creates white noise -- except at certain temperatures, the thermostat would occasionally cause it to repeatedly turn on and off. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would consider returning if in the area again.

Nancy’s in-law suite was perfect for our purposes, close to our family, convenient access to winelands, San Francisco, and Oakland proper and surroundings. I went for hikes every morning, easy distance to the Redwoods from the house. Rocky’s grocery was a daily stop after my hike, a real treasure.

We LOVED our time here, and highly recommend Hank's place! Perfect for 1-2 people. Check-in was super easy, and the place was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Located in a safe, charming neighborhood, close enough to the ocean that we could hear it from the lovely back patio. We loved Hank's humor in his hand-written guidebooks! We didn't have a car (although the garage would be a HUGE plus for anyone who did!), but we never had to wait more than a few minutes for a Lyft to take us wherever we wanted, in the city. We walked down the hill to Safeway (just a half-mile away) for essentials. Outstanding experiencel we wished we could stay forever! Oh! The tub was luxurious! Sooooo nice after a long day trekking around the hills of S.F. It is VERY deep, so do be careful! Personally, I found that the safest way for me to get out (from a seated position in the bath) was to get on my hands and knees first, and then stand. Hope this helps someone else. Enjoy!
