Cabin holiday rentals in Walnut Creek

After staying here, we want to move here. We cannot but it is on our shortlist for the next time we move. We are going to come back with the rest of our family

This was my second visit to Surfers’s Perch. The location is incredible with an awesome view of the ocean. It was quiet, peaceful and so comfortable. The host thought of everything which really helped us to feel at home and very relaxed. I highly recommend a visit, and I will most certainly be back!

What a beautiful escape. This is a quaint cottage situated right between beach and city access. Easy to get down town to Petaluma, to SF, and to the shore. The bunk is so cute with many thoughtful details. My family enjoyed making a fire, sipping tea, and reading the cowboy books (of which there are several). There were games provided as well . We stayed up playing Cards against Humanity one night, laughing with a fire going and the sounds of nature outside. There are chickens, cows, bulls, and horses, 3 adorable dogs. Also great for bird watching as well. We loved seeing the animals outside. Melissa and her husband were super responsive, friendly, and provided local recommendations. Highly recommend this peaceful sanctuary!!

I was extremely pleased with my stay at Noelle's. Everything was in perfect condition and as described. They went above-and-beyond expectations with thoughtful and helpful touches, such as providing a pitcher of filtered water, a small fan by the bed, and a flashlight. Also, they very kindly turned on the heat to ensure that it was warm for me upon arrival. I will definitely look to stay with them again if I am in need of accommodations in the area again in the future.

We had a great time at this property. The 150 steps can feel like a lot if you aren’t used to climbing stairs specially if you come and go from the property multiple times a day during the stay. However, we were totally fine with it. It would probably be nice to have a few more lights along the way so that we didn’t have to depend completely on our phones to get to the house after dark. If you’re planning to cook meals while you stay here, you’ll probably be using the dining table as a counter since there isn’t one in the kitchen really. The kitchen does have all the equipment you’ll need; it is just tight. Outside of this it was beautiful; cozy and serene. The cabin was a great choice for a weekend in the green hills. The bedroom, the study and the living room are all great spaces to hang out. Emily also provides a great selection of books that go very well with the vibe of the cabin. I’d absolutely come back here again.

Ila's place was very nice. My husband and I were there to spend the Christmas Holidays with family. It was neat, clean, exactly as described and very comfortable. The area was very safe, quiet and close to many amenities. Ila was very responsive each and every time! It made everything very easy. While I can see that the drive way may be difficult for some, Ila's instructions were excellent and easy to follow. We really liked that the space was private. The bed was very comfortable which was very welcome after a cross country late night flight. We found her place to be very clean and she added many extras such as Christmas lights and flowers. The extra touches always make you feel at home. We would be happy to go back to Ila's place. Thank you! Donna and Robert

We had a wonderful stay at Victoria's cabin. We loved everything about it. Sonoma Raceway was an easy 10-minute drive away, and the view was beautiful. I wish we had more time to spend at this unique cabin, we would definitely stay here again.

Danielle’s place was a proper retreat in nature. Sooo well thought out. The hot tub with the views was the highlight. Loved the lighting in the bath too. We cooked there too. We had everything we needed to cook. Just the best time!!🦋 we would def return!! ✨❤️

Magical stay! Beautiful surroundings and set in the heart of downtown Mill Valley. Great spots for morning coffee and fine restaurants for dining. We easily visited Muir Woods, San Francisco, and Sonoma all within 10 - 25 minutes away. Other days we just lounged in this cozy space. Sally our host was delightful and there were personal touches everywhere including a welcome basket with treats. Mother daughter getaway was everything we hoped it would be. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a tranquil treetop setting with plenty to see and do in Northern California.
