Holiday rentals with beach access in Waikato River

Alec and Anna were exceptionally gracious hosts and provided much insight to the area and things to do. They treated me like family. My experience was amazing in every way.

Great stay. The apartment was pristine and well laid out. Had absolutely everything we would need, lots of little extras. Great location. Corner store and takeaways 2 minutes walk. 2 minutes walk to beach access. Hot pools 10 minute drive. Hosts Mark and Cheryl super helpful and welcoming. Enjoyed our overnight stay.

Thank you to these kind and generous hosts, they both were so easy to talk with and so helpful. It was a perfect place to have a break at, I just wish that I could have stayed for longer. Immense gratitude to them both, I wish them continued success in their hosting lives and thank them for the privilege of being able to stay in their home.

Jackson's place was really easy to find and it's only a minute walk to the shops and local restaurants. Not to mention, just across the road from the beach! The space itself was great, felt right at home, nice and private even with Jackson upstairs (although you'd never know it!). Would definitely stay again :)

We had such a wonderful time! This is truly a beautiful Airbnb in a stunning location. It had everything we could possibly need and Robyn made us feel right at home. Our son enjoyed all the toys, puzzles and wanted to go kayaking as soon as his eyes opened in the morning. We will be back!

Thanks Mary offering this great location and let us store the luggage in her house after we checked out the apartment. Mt maunganui is a tourist spot and there are plenty of things to do. If you like nature, can go swim, climb up the mountain, enjoy sunrise and sunset. During winter time, there are also plenty of tourist visit. During weekend is quite noisy and crowded. Even stay in the indoor also have the noise from the street and hot pool opposite. Also, there are some wake up alarm noise from the nearby apartment that also waked me up and disturbed my sleeping. Overall, the apartment is very good and there are great nature environments nearby!

Thank you Shelley for having our family stay in your amazing unit. Very helpful and clear instructions, incredible lake views and easy walking access to the lake and hot water beach. The highlight for us was the outdoor geothermal pool - such a cool and uniquely NZ experience!

Had a really nice stay here. A beautiful location and view from the house. Really peaceful and relaxing. Nice interior homely vibe with everything you need. Would recommend.

Well what can we say?! AMAZING! ❤️Antony & Yolanda’s house is simply BEAUTIFUL! The location is fantastic, a 2 min walk to the local supermarket/restaurants/bars & eateries. The beach also only a 2 min walk. We attended the Dawn Parade and it was such a luxury not having to worry about parking, everything really is on your doorstep. The house itself is lovely and spacious yet felt so cosy and homely. The hosts have put a LOT of thought and effort in to making you feel at home (and we did)! ❤️ From the cosy plush blankets, to the ping pong table (which was so much fun), everything was just magic! From our family to yours Y & A, a huge thank you! 😘❤️

Amy’s place was absolutely amazing! My twi friends and I stayed for a long weekend as we were competing in a crossfit competition ober Matariki weekend in the Mount. Amy’s place was everything we expected and more! It was in a nice quiet neighbourhood with an awesome restaurant just down the road. Being winter time it was super warm and cozy. Every bedroom had it’s own heatpump. We also found some foldout beach chairs and a picnic rug which we used to take to our competition to relax on in between our events. The kitchen was well equipped with all the things including a cute little snack jar. The place was so clean and tidy and we loved all the decor and details it made us feel really at home and was a great place to relax. We would recommend Amy’s place to anyone travelling to Papamoa, Tauranga or the Mount. We would love to stay again in the summer time and go to the beach so I will have to bring my whānau one day. Thanks Amy, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Danny's place is extremely high quality. It was warm and cozy and the bed was very comfortable. The views are beautiful. Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved our stay!!! The apartment itself is so spacious, beautifully decorated and the kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable and the shower water pressure was great. The location was close to everything- we walked everywhere the weekend. Will most definitely be back - this is the perfect place for a weekend in the Mount!

Alan was great- he was very considerate with our check in time and although we stayed only for one night, he was brilliant with communication.

The accommodation is 11/10 with a 6 star rating for everything one needs for an escape. Modern, minimalist really private in a bustling area. We loved our stay and will return again. Thanks to Denise. Excellent comms and a few personal touches.

The apartment was perfect. Good underground parking. Close to the venue we were attending. Just a couple of minutes walk to the city centre and restaurants. Very quiet. Arihia and Char were excellent hosts.

We had an amazing four night stay here. The apartment was excellently furnished, the location effectively on the lakefront was fantastic and the outlook across the lake to Mount Tarawera was beautiful. We could not have wished for more. Thank you Murray for being such a great host

Excellent location. Close to everything. Clean and tidy, well lived in, apartment. Very small 2nd bedroom (office size) straight off the lounge. Perfect for us though, we enjoyed our stay. Brooke was a great- excellent comms.

Lovely place to stay, great view overlooking the river would definitely stay again.
