Nature eco lodge holiday rentals in Virginia

This is a unique property that has the size and flexibility to fit a fairly large, generational family. Each room, with its own bathroom is so convenient! And the large, common, eating area; with the "Cliff View" is spectacular. This is the second time our family has stayed here, and with some in Ohio, and some in VA, we will probably be back . Plus. We have runners, and the proximity to that epic trail along the Jackson is a real draw!

Thank you so much for such a beautiful stay here. I will definitely be spreading the word. I believe I was meant to find this place as part of my healing journey and it brought me so much peace in such a difficult time of my life. Thank you for being so friendly and wonderful host. I am so so in love with your little resort and hope that next time I will be able to enjoy it even more than I did this time around and take advantage of more of the amenities you offered, it initially was a spot to lay my head since I had no where else to go and it provided me a lot more than a place to lay my head but a therapeutic rescue… but at a time when I just needed peace and quiet and nature this was the perfect place to be. You have no idea how much this has given me hope for my future and just how much my perspective in life has changed. This resort has changed my perspective of life so greatly. Great host, even spoke with me while I was at the fire pit to make sure I had what I needed.

Victoria is wonderful! We had some unexpected weather and she generously helped us get out and on our way back home. 10/10 airbnb experience!

A super cute spot right on the river. I am going to have to bring my kayak next time! The room was beautiful and the tub was nice. The porch was also super cozy. The bed was super comfortable. I hadn't slept that good in a while! It was also a short drive into town with a good selection of food. Victoria was super kind and quick to respond. I would definitely come back for anither stay.

Another great stay. We stayed here last year and enjoyed the peaceful location and easy access to Virginia Tech to attend the football game. Dina is great and responsive to all questions and requests. Looking forward to coming back again next year.

The setting is lovely . I had comolete privacy and everything was clean and well supplied . The couple were very accommodating and were available at check in. I would reccomend this place, especially for a mountain wedding , girl scout lock in or camp. it was exactly what I needed for my stay over. I was given my space after check in, and felt very safe and comfortable.

2nd time renting Laura's place. Beyond gorgeous views. My husband's family has a cabin & I'd always rather stay here! Breathtaking!!!

Had a great one night stay at the guest house. Highlights include the beautiful deck space overlooking the river, and a friendly dog that stopped by to say hello. Be prepared to be out of cell service and wifi May or may not work. Otherwise a very peaceful and well kept space!

Listen - the view of the New River is the thing at the house on the hill. We could have stayed on the deck for hours and hours. The bath downstairs has a gorgeous view, and our king room upstairs has 180 degrees of views. Luckily the weather cooperated and we were able to sleep with the windows open - it was 60 degrees that night - so we could hear the river all night long, like a lullaby. Plus, the rental includes use of a strip of bank right on the New River, which was lovely. The place is perfect for a family getaway. Huge living room / kitchen great room are perfect for a multi-generation escape. Laura was very communicative and wonderful. We will be back with our family to rent the whole place for a weekend.
