It was wonderful to stay in a home connected to the history of the Loire area and its architecture. We loved the elegant, tall windows, the high ceilings, the wide hallways, the fire places, the lovely lounge and dining rooms, the views of the climbing roses from the bedrooms along the back side of the house, the spacious, main bedroom and the large garden with it comfortable furniture. We ate outside and enjoyed the garden. The kitchen is pretty but a little narrow for a couple of people to work in there at the same time. It is well equiped, with everything you need to prepare meals. The main bathroom is spacious. The second bathroom is bath only with shower attachment in the bath. It was fine for us. The house is decorated with soft, pastel wall paper and is quite sparse in its decoration which I loved because I could enjoy the structures of the home without them being hidden by too much decoration. We loved our stay and would stay again. Carol also kindly looked after us.

This stay was possibly the most high quality stay we have had thus far after many years of being guests at various airbnbs. The furnishings are top quality, the setting is gorgeous and the host is extremely accommodating. Do not opt for another airbnb in the area. You will not regret staying here at all.

We (three adults) had a wonderful time in the very beautiful and exceptionally well-equipped house. Due to the central location, we had the opportunity to take extensive tours of the Loire Valley with our bikes. We also liked the nearby and very pretty town of Esvres. We can therefore recommend the address without restrictions and would like to express our gratitude for the pleasant stay with the very friendly hostess.

Patrice and Christel are lovely hosts. Patrice showed us his old restored wood oven, shared his passion for plants and his beginnings as a beekeeper. We were also able to taste the cherries. The house is as described. We were able to enjoy the private area of the garden overlooking the countryside. Ideal for those looking for a little tranquility after visiting the chateaux of the Loire all day. We recommend it without hesitation.

This beautiful old house very well furnished, with quality and good taste; Very quiet. Nature view. 2 bedrooms with each bathroom WC, great equipment. Everything is there: soaps, coffee, cooking utensils, etc... everything to live right away. In short, we want to come back! Thank you Pascale 😊

We are satisfied with the accommodation for our stay. Clean, spacious and well placed functional for visiting a few castles.

Jean Philippe was wonderful. He met us and showed us the apartment and explained how to use all the items. The apartment is very quiet and is in a beautiful courtyard. The coffee machine gave us the best coffee so far on our trip. I really appreciate that Jean Philippe supplied us with lots of coffee. These little details make a huge difference. We loved the location. The bed and the bath were very nice, we really enjoyed our stay.

La Quintessence was the perfect place to stay for a long weekend in Amboise. The apartment is spacious and comfortable, with everything you could need to use. Sophie is a great host, with a long list of great recommendations which made the weekend easy and enjoyable. I would definitely come back!

Excellent stay in Tours! The apartment is ideally located, a stone's throw from the train station and the convention centre. A supermarket is just down the street, which is very convenient. The residence is quiet, with a lift leading directly to the 4th and last floor. The accommodation was clean, well-equipped, and very pleasant, you immediately feel at home. A big thank you to Pauline for her responsiveness and flexibility, especially for my late arrival. I recommend it without hesitating!

Beautiful apartment, located in a peaceful residence. Easy parking. Nadine is a very nice hostess. I took good care of the cat, who apparently adopted me. I had a great stay at Nadine's, and I'll be happy to come back.
