This Commiezen house (customs office/earlier BORDER/TAX CONTROL Office) is one of the oldest houses at the mouth of the North Sea Canal. The house dates from 1875 and thus forms the basis of the later IJmuiden. With the largest sea lock in the world within walking distance and beach and fishing port within a radius of 1 km, this place is an ideal starting point for day trips. Haarlem (15 min.) and Amsterdam (30 min.) are also easily accessible. Public transportation - bus and train - are available as well as free parking.

There are two restaurants in the village, and the Albert Heijn is within walking distance! The boat has 4 bedrooms with room for 8 people, a luxury bathroom and a spacious kitchen. There is a TV in one of the bedrooms as well as in the living room. With the nice weather, you can enjoy the sun in the cockpit.

When you stay in our attractively furnished summer house in the always pleasant Wijk aan Zee, you have the entire house at your disposal, and you can completely relax. Wijk aan Zee is a lively place where there is always something going on. Walking on the beach or in the North Holland dunes is possible within a few minutes from our residence. The house has a lovely box spring bed, sitting area with TV, dining area, kitchen and separate bathroom. There is a private outdoor area with garden bench.
