Commiezenhuis

This Commiezen house (customs office/earlier BORDER/TAX CONTROL Office) is one of the oldest houses at the mouth of the North Sea Canal. The house dates from 1875 and thus forms the basis of the later IJmuiden. With the largest sea lock in the world within walking distance and beach and fishing port within a radius of 1 km, this place is an ideal starting point for day trips. Haarlem (15 min.) and Amsterdam (30 min.) are also easily accessible. Public transportation - bus and train - are available as well as free parking.

Midden in de duinen van natuurpark Zuid-Kennemerland op 300m van het strand ligt dit ruime vakantiehuis met vrij uitzicht op zee. Warm jezelf op bij de houtkachel na een lange strandwandeling of geniet vanaf het terras aan de voorzijde van de ondergaande zon. Vanaf het balkon bij de slaapkamer zie je 's ochtends de zon opkomen boven het duinlandschap, waar ook vaak herten te zien zijn. Het huis is ruim, heeft 2.5 woonlagen en is van alle gemakken voorzien. Er is een gedeeld zwembad + sauna.

Historical house with a great living room, dinning room and kitchen. There are 2 sleeping rooms with in total 5 beds. The neighbourhous is quit and its only a few stepts from the naional park "de kennemerduinen" 10 minutes by train to Haarlem and 30 minutes by train to the city of Amsterdam were you can have dinner or to go out. Parking for free in the street. Alleready got more then 130 enthousiastic guests in my house, they all want to come back. Alle basic shops arround the corner. SUPER!!!

Overnacht in een charmante oude restaurantwoning, gelegen in de duingrens en op steenworp afstand van het strand. Deze ruime woning met uitzicht op zee heeft onlangs een eigentijdse transformatie ondergaan, waarbij moderne trends harmonieus samensmelten met authentieke, ouderwetse elementen. Spacious living room with open kitchen, wood stove and French door over the entire width to sunny garden with BBQ. First floor: two bedrooms with double bed, separate bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet. On the second floor is a very spacious bedroom with its own bathroom and toilet. This room is only available for 5/6 person bookings!

This luxurious family house was restored in 2024. With 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. A large open kitchen and a cozy garden with a tv and a mini-fridge. It is also possible to add an extra baby bed. Just a 5 min walk to the trainstation to Amsterdam, This train will take you to Haarlem city in 10 minutes, and 25 minutes to Amsterdam. Also, if you want to go to the beach, its a 15 min drive to IJmuiden and if you take the train, you can be at Zandvoort in 25 min!
