This Commies house (customs office/former BORDER/ TAX CONTROL Office ) is one of the oldest houses at the mouth of the North Sea Canal. The house dates from 1875 and thus forms the basis of the later IJmuiden. With the largest sea lock in the world within walking distance and beach and fishing port within a radius of 1 km, this place is an ideal starting point for day trips. Haarlem (15 min.) and Amsterdam (30min.) are also easily accessible. Public transport bus and train - are available as well as free parking.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stat, in the middle of the forest, big garden, water canal at the edge of the chalet and a lot of tranquility. The chalet is for four people and is child friendly. The park has all the amenities to ensure a fun and relaxing time, including a restaurant and bike rentals. This stylish industrial accommodation is perfect for up to 6 people but less is also fine. You can use the spacious kitchen for cooking. Because of its location, you can reach Amsterdam, Haarlem or the beach in no time. Make a lovely bike, for example - or hike through the dunes or go shopping in Haarlem or Amsterdam. Upon your return, you can relax in the Finnish sauna.
