Commiezenhuis

This Commiezen house (customs office/earlier BORDER/TAX CONTROL Office) is one of the oldest houses at the mouth of the North Sea Canal. The house dates from 1875 and thus forms the basis of the later IJmuiden. With the largest sea lock in the world within walking distance and beach and fishing port within a radius of 1 km, this place is an ideal starting point for day trips. Haarlem (15 min.) and Amsterdam (30 min.) are also easily accessible. Public transportation - bus and train - are available as well as free parking.

Een totaal gerenoveerde vintage woonboot met een tuin van 300 m2 staat geheel tot je beschikking. A’dam is 25 min. met de auto en H’lem is 10 min. met de auto. Vanuit de boot kijk je uit op het schilderachtige Spaarndam waar je heerlijk een hapje kunt eten. Duik elke dag het water in en wandel een rondje om het Kanaal of haal een ijsje in Spaardam!

Midden in de duinen van natuurpark Zuid-Kennemerland op 300m van het strand ligt dit ruime vakantiehuis met vrij uitzicht op zee. Warm jezelf op bij de houtkachel na een lange strandwandeling of geniet vanaf het terras aan de voorzijde van de ondergaande zon. Vanaf het balkon bij de slaapkamer zie je 's ochtends de zon opkomen boven het duinlandschap, waar ook vaak herten te zien zijn. Het huis is ruim, heeft 2.5 woonlagen en is van alle gemakken voorzien. Er is een gedeeld zwembad + sauna.

The 40m2 guesthouse is located in recreation area "Spaarnwoude", (3 persons in the house and we can host 2 extra persons (kids) in a caravan) included season shared pool and with a all year around outside hottub close to the beach of IJmuiden/Zandvoort and train-busstation Amsterdam Sloterdijk (15min). Activities nearby: SnowPlanet, a golfcourse, horse riding, harbour and water activities. Bus 382 stops nearby. Ruigoord is close. Beautiful Bali-style design. We have an outdoor trampoline.

First floor: two bedrooms with double bed, separate bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet. On the second floor is a very spacious bedroom with its own bathroom and toilet. This room is only available for 5/6 person bookings!
