Her er flott turterreng med merka turstier.Fra hytta er det kort avstand til butikk,golfbane og Jølster skisenter.Jølster kan by på kulturelle opplevelser,lokalt håndverk ,kunstmuseum. Fra hytta er det gangavstand til Tindefjelle og Steinegga.

På kanten av eit jøl, skapt av elva sitt tusenårige strev for å nå fjorden, svevar hytta delvis i terrenget. Liggande heilt for seg sjølv utan nære naboar, men med utsikt over kulturlandskap og bygdelag, er dette ein perfekt stad både for avslapping og aktivitet.
