Our accommodation is suitable for couples, solo travelers, business travelers, and families (with children). Car is needed because there is no public transport. Closest grocery store Edane, 10 km. Bank, post office, train station and pizzeria are in Edane, to the city of Arvika 25 km. A short forest walk from the accommodation to Lake Värmeln. Close to Arvika golf course, an 18-hole course.

Fishing license must be purchased in the Affären i Lekvattnet electricity online at Ifiske. You can relax at the place or go on Finnskog's hiking trails, cross-country skiing in the middle of summer in the ski tunnel in Torsby, about 40 minutes to 2 alpine facilities (Hovfjället and Ski Sunne), We use the cottage very myself so please let me know before booking!!! FredrikLars farm at Nordmarksbergs Mansion

FredrikLars-gården adjacent to Nordmarksbergs Herrgård: 19th century or older. In this farm, the great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (b. 1747 – 1790) has lived. On a rock in the grounds of the farm, there should be a curtain with the name of Nils. Picture of this stone can be found in Värmlandsarkiv's photo archive on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but has not been found in the present day. It's probably hidden by mortar that's been covered over the rocks.

Private small cottage of 52 m2 + 25 m2 loft and large terrace with outdoor hot tub for 6 people. Very modern and nice accommodation for yourself with the host in their own house on the property. Private parking space with room for 3 cars. Directly adjacent to the lake and 12 km by car to the large square in Karlstad. Small oak with electric motor is available if desired. If you have your own boat with you, you can put it by the jetty. In summer, you can borrow a smaller boat with an electric motor (see picture)
