Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Varmland County

Kim’s place is perfect for a weekend getaway - the sauna and jacuzzi make your stay relaxing and very enjoyable. Although some closets and spots around the house were not perfectly clean, the kitchen had absolutely everything we needed to cook and feel at home. Kim is also very responsive and attentive, she provided us with additional towels and fixed one extra bed to accommodate our needs. A great place to stay, which I highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Our family of five was traveling through the area and stopped for the night. After a long day on the road, it was such a treat to arrive and find the hot tub ready, towels laid out, and even fresh strawberries waiting for us—perfection! We took a long walk in the woods and loved how peaceful and relaxing the whole setting was. A wonderful stop on our journey. Highly recommend!

We spent a wonderful weekend at this beautiful house and have only positive things to say. Steeped in history, the house exudes a deep connection to the area and its local industries. Edita and Per-Erik have done a fantastic job blending old-world aristocratic charm with modern, stylish touches. Set on the banks of the Klarälven River, the scenery is truly breathtaking. The old NKIJ railway bridge adds to the view, spanning the river like a graceful rainbow of steel. For anyone interested in economic history, this place is a hidden gem! Edita and Per-Erik are exceptional hosts — communication was clear and prompt from start to finish. Great amenities and family friendly activities also added to the superb experiences. We will definitely return in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at Gard Solhag! Everything about the place is magical, the lake, the house, the boat, the area… Diana, Tobias and Mia are wonderful hosts, always helpful and available, communication was very uncomplicated and warm. The house is perfectly functional for a family, EVERYTHING works perfectly (Swiss precision :) and at the same time tasteful and rich with beautiful details! Would recommend it to everybody! Mats and Britta were easy to communicate with both before and during our stay, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. We were a party of 7 adults and 2 children visiting the property and were very happy with our stay.

Got a great welcome letter with clear instructions and what amenities were included. Everything was clean and fresh, the beds were already made upon arrival which felt really luxurious. Very comfortable beds. Great and clear communication! Was up for Vasaloppet, so unfortunately didn't have time to use the sauna or hot tub.

A beautiful house with a magnificent view from the veranda. Here you can enjoy walking and with a bit of luck seeing moose.

What a wonderful stay your house Kronskogen (located half an hour above Torsby). It is really a gem for those looking for peace and nature. Quite secluded, in the middle of the greenery – you are really alone here with yourself. Exactly what we needed! The house has all the comforts: including games, towels, washing machine, a mega supply of wood, dryer and beds made upon arrival - so much was present. As a family of four, we felt very comfortable here. What beautiful memories we were able to make here during the two weeks we stayed there. Glenn was easily accessible and responded quickly to questions, which made the stay even more pleasant. We'd love to come back!

Wonderful and peaceful place if you want to unwind in nature. It's a great area for hiking and canoeing. The hut is beautiful, clean and very well taken care of.

Annika and Per's apartment is beautifully located! The kitchen is very well equipped and the wood-powered bathtub was a real highlight. In good weather, you can go canoeing on the lake and enjoy nature. We can't wait for the next visit! :)

We arrived at an Easter decorated, cozy and nice cabin with already heated hot tub which was very appreciated after many hours in the car. Even the Easter bunny had visited, which the kids really appreciated. We realized that we had forgotten the high chair for the smallest and sugar for the dessert but it was convoluted without the slightest concern. The kitchen was fantastic, with dishwasher and everything. We had cooked in advance so it was just to warm and we got a cozy Easter together. Thanks for a pleasant stay!

We have been spending family holiday in Dalsland for over 20 years and this is definitely the loveliest house we have stayed in. Both the house and the location are gorgeous. The light and views from the living room in particular are spectacular. Due to rain we weren’t able to use the private bathing/BBQ spot that is 15 mins walk away - a shame because it is a wonderfully secluded spot overlooking the lake with chairs and two hammocks, a BBQ and wood-burning stove and a jetty. Finding a Swedish summer house that provides sheets and towels was a definite plus for us because bringing them from the UK has been a downside of other houses we’ve rented. The only downside of the house for us was that one of the single bedrooms can only be accessed via the master bedroom which wasn’t mentioned in the listing. Not a big deal and the layout would be great for a family with children. We had a wonderful time. Thank you Johan and Maggan!

We felt right at home. It is a beautiful house right on the water. Unfortunately, there was no snow for Christmas this year. It didn't come until a week later. Arne put a Christmas tree outside the door for us, so it also felt like Christmas. In the hot tub, we were able to listen to the ice cream, which sounded like election chants... For the way to the house (the last 5km) I would pack snow chains next time. We will be happy to come back.

Really great place if you enjoy Swedish rural life. You feel isolated in a good sense with luxurious ammenities. If you want a larger city is within 20 minutes distance. The host answered all our questions really quickly and everything was as expected or a lot better. Also note that if you enjoy fishing Pägertjärn is super close (3 min car or short walk) and super stocked with trout and char and the fishing warden is really nice.

Cozy cottage that suited us well, two families could fit smoothly. Everything was new and fresh. Great accessibility to the slopes! Would recommend !
