Various shops, restaurants, (coffee) bars, the canals and other sights are within a stone’s throw of the house. The park immediately behind the house is a lovely place to spend some time on sunny days. And for laid back evenings we provide Netflix.

This location is for nature lovers and those seeking tranquility. From the houseboat you have a view of a nature-friendly bank that is ecologically managed by the local residents. You can view the many types of water birds and even the Kingfisher and the Cormorant come to catch a fish every now and then. The water is of very good quality and you can swim from the boat. You can also rent an electrically powered rowing boat from us to explore the area from the water.

De Boomgaard (The Orchard) is in the walled garden of an 18th-century house on the legendary Vecht River, where Dutch country life was born. The b&b is a complete cottage of great charm and comfort. Guests have their own entrance, with free parking a few steps from the door. They have their own entirely private bathroom and kitchen.

In the University Quarter in the center of Utrecht, a unique and tasteful apartment (30m2) has been realized in the paper warehouse of the former city printing house Pascal. Within walking distance (10 minutes) of the beautiful city wharves. With its many terraces, a plenty, museums, historic churches, Tivoli Vredenburg, every Saturday the flower and flea market, this place is definitely worth a stay of a few days.

Amsterdam can easily visit by train. This only takes you a 10 min walk and 25min train to Amsterdam Central station !
