Cute house in colourful neighbourhood, walking distance to tram. Our family of four enjoyed 3 nights here. House was clean and warm with easy check in. Host even had bread, milk and eggs in store for us on arrival which was appreciated after our long overnight journey. (Supermarket only 5 mins walk thereafter). 15 minute walk (steep hill) to tram then easy access within city. We loved the neighbourhood of Balat, the colourful houses give the area real character. Wish we had a longer stay, lots to see and do in city. If we return we would definitely book same property and would recommend to others. Thanks Ozkan!

周辺は可愛らしい建物が立ち並び、レストランも多く、落ち着いた環境です。Filesさんがとてもフレンドリーで親切だったので、安心して宿泊出来ました。ブルーモスクまで歩いて行けますが、坂を登る必要があります。

Wonderful stay. Location was perfect. Restaurants, transportation, sightseeing all within convenient walking distance. Highly recommend this townhouse when visiting Istanbul.

Our extended family stayed for a week at Ozkans house Ozkan was very responsive to guide our taxi drive through the original cobble stone lanes. it is an original house dating back to the Otterman era, the house had everything we needed, lots of books washing .machine, well equipped kitchen. The main bed was a bit lumpy but strangely comfortable, downstairs double was ok, the single mattress wasn't so good. The house is halfway up the hill from the tourist area, lots of Cafes etc. Where the houses is,the area hasn't been gentrified. Was a little concerned when we arrived, Taxi driver wasn't enthusiastic about the area. However we found the area safe. friendly. We were a party of 3 women. and 1 man. Plenty of nearby small shops to buy groceries etc. The tram, bus and ferry station are 5/ 10 minute walk away, so very convenient to get to the Istanbull centre, Taksim or 30 minute walk. It was a very interesting enjoyable stay. Ozkan was a very responsive and generous host

Our family of 6 including my kids and parents had a wonderful stay at the house. The house itself is beautifully furnished, clean, had very comfortable beds and pillows, well working AC, well stocked. I really appreciated the beautiful glassware and china. The house is vertical, as shown on the listing photos. It was not a problem for us because my parents took two bedrooms on first floor (one flight of stairs) and the rest of us were fine with taking more stairs. The location worked perfectly for us. The house is 1-10 min walking distance from many great restaurants, cafes, sights. The street is lined with artisan shops and many great specialty food stores. Asli was an amazing host. Very thoughtful, incredibly responsive with lots of recommendations and feedback, and made us feel at home in Istanbul. We will definitely stay at the house again.

Das Haus hat einen alten Istanbuler Charme, aufgeteilt in drei Stockwerke in einer lebendigen Region in Istanbul. Es ist zentral gelegen und man kommt vom AirBnb aus super in die Stadt zu den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten. Denis hat im Vorhinein auch schon direkt Infos bezüglich Anfahrt zur Unterkunft, etc. kommuniziert und war gut erreichbar!

Absolutely loved our one month stay here. House is a real gem. So beautifully decorated, with everything you need to be comfortable for a long visit. Kitchen was well equipped, beds comfy and the shower was a real treat. And as mentioned in other reviews the stairs are a masterpiece, but defn not for those who aren’t steady on their feet. Such an interesting neighbourhood with so many lovely cafes, delicious bakeries and supermarkets close by. Host had made many local recommendations, and the ones we tried were great. Less than a 15min walk to the Ferry which we mostly used to go everywhere, as it is an incredible way to see Istanbul. Also, tram stop is close by with easy access to the Sultanahmet area. If you are after an authentic stay in an authentic area, this property is a real find. Thanks for having us. Vanessa

Our recent stay at this Airbnb in Turkey was truly amazing! The location was super convenient—everywhere we wanted to go was just a short taxi ride away. Plus, taxis had no trouble finding the place, which made getting around a breeze. The house itself was spotless! You could tell the host took our request for cleanliness seriously. The place smelled fresh and looked immaculate. The host even provided extra towels, tissues, and bed sheets without any hesitation. The layout of the Airbnb was fantastic: three floors, each with its own bed and bathroom. This setup was perfect for our family, and it would be ideal for multiple families traveling together. The privacy and convenience were top-notch. The ground floor had a billiard table, which was a huge hit with the kids (and the adults!). It was such a fun feature and gave the kids a great place to hang out while the adults relaxed. Finally, the host was incredibly accommodating. It was amazing to stay at her hosting if you are a family of many of just a group of friends the stay can assist you in multiple ways with a good location making it close to many major tourist spots and the street itself was a vibe and were frequently greeted with cats. It was really comfortable to stay at the hosting. Definitely recommend

سكنت فيه لمدة يومين انا وعائلتي، عددنا ٧ اشخاص، والله على ما اقول شهيد ، انها كانت تجربة رائعة ومسكن نظيف جداً ، وصاحب المسكن الاخ هاني ما يقصر ، موفر فيه جميع الاحتياجات بالاضافة انه يتجاوب معي على طول في حال طلبت شي ، السكن جاي بحارة صغيرة وتعيش اجواء شعبية وسط جيران ودودين 👏🏼

Très belle maison de style ottoman avec une vue magique sur la Corne d'Or du petit déjeuner au coucher du soleil, en compagnie du petit chat noir ;) le quartier est coloré et agréable à vivre... Bien desservi par les transports, une fois les arrêts trouvés ;) Merve a été très flexible pour les horaires d'arrivée et de départ. Merci à elle. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour pour cette première fois à Istanbul et nous recommandons cet Airbnb ! Soyez en forme il y 49 marches jusqu'à la magnifique vue de la terrasse et une petite pente pour arriver à la maison.

Beautiful, spacious house in a nice area of Istanbul. The ferry gets you to the center easily. We had an excellent stay!

Die Unterkunft liegt am Galata Tower. Es ist wunderschön in einer Nebenstraße gelegen. Ein ganz nettes Frühstückscafe direkt nebenan,ebenfalls ein kleines Kiosk,um sich was zu trinken zu kaufen. Das Haus ist toll gelegen mit vielen direkten Shopping und Café Möglichkeiten. Wir hatten einen ganz tollen Aufenthalt. Burak ist wirklich SEHR nett,hilfsbereit und hat gute Tipp. Wirklich ein super Ort,um Istanbul zu erkunden. Es gibt 4 Etagen mit jeweils abgeschlossenen Zimmern mit Bad und Küche. Wir haben uns sehr sicher und wohl gefühlt.
