Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Unterammergau

The place was just great! Everything you need was there and the hosts were super friendly and helpful. The children were allowed to feed the rabbits in the garden, you had your private area in the garden and the mountain panorama was awesome. A really great, family-friendly accommodation. There were even high chairs, a changing table, a cot and games for children and adults. The area invites you to many activities - it is not far to Imst, the Ötztal or the Pitztal. So a great starting point. Daniela and her husband always had an open ear for questions. A clear recommendation for a family holiday in the mountains!

We were 8 and did a team workation. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate, but we felt very comfortable in the large living room!

Very pretty place where to stay like at home

Even the greeting by Pauline conveyed a good feeling of being welcome. It was like staying with friends.

Our stay was absolutely flawless. The property is immaculate, thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable visit. Nestled in a stunning location, it serves as a perfect base for exploring the surrounding area. We were fortunate to enjoy glorious spring weather, which made relaxing on the lovely patio after a day of sightseeing even more delightful. We wholeheartedly recommend this place—it's a 10/10 experience!

The apartment was perfectly appointed. Wonderful views, extremely comfortable and all the home comforts needed. A short and very pretty walk into town, where there are several nice restaurants and places for coffee and drinks . The view from the balcony is stunning. Britta was a super a helpful host, assisting us with restaurants and local information. Highly recommended and would definitely return.

Simon's house exceeded our expectations. It was not only very lovingly and high-quality furnished, but also sparkling clean. We immediately felt at home. Communication with Simon was quick and smooth. He was always there when we had questions and kindly provided us with a shelter for our car when heavy hail was forecast. The area is very quiet, the house has a really good and inviting energy due to the large amount of wood. From Großweil, you can easily reach all the beautiful lakes or hiking trails. There is also a small supermarket in the village and in Murnau there are also larger markets, if you need more. We longed for rest and quiet this week and got exactly that. Amazing place! Just as pictured. Incredible view. So relaxing and close to get to paragliding, funicular, and hiking, biking or just walking. Very clean, great amenities. Everything you need for cooking including oils, spices etc as well as espresso is in stocked kitchen. Stefan was readily available to answer questions and was there when we arrived. Would give 10 stars. Highly recommend!!!! Wish we could have stayed longer.

a perfect week! The host was very responsive and welcoming, which greatly facilitated our arrival. The apartment was impeccable, irreproachably clean. We found everything we needed for a comfortable stay: complete amenities, well-equipped kitchen, lots of utensils. The living room and bedroom are very spacious, offering real comfort on a daily basis. Parking space is a real plus. The location is ideal: only 70 metres from the chairlift, with a charming terrace as a bonus where you can relax after a day in the mountains. A real cocoon out of time, which I recommend without hesitation to those who seek to recharge their batteries.

We stayed for 3 nights at Georg's apartment "Viktoria" and felt at home from the first time we entered. Not only the apartment, but also the house and the great garden (with various possibilities for sitting, lingering, sunbathing and watching sunset) were super well maintained, lovingly designed and kept modern. The location of the accommodation was perfect - insanely quiet location, but by car within an hour you were in the Alps! We will be happy to come back!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Andrea's home, and it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and hospitality. The space was not only beautifully decorated but also impeccably clean and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect—quiet yet conveniently close to local attractions and amenities. I particularly enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and the lovely views from the windows. Andrea was a fantastic host, always available to answer questions and provide recommendations, which made my trip even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend staying at Andrea's home. It truly felt like a home away from home, and I can’t wait to return!

Brilliant place to stay! The hosts were great, the apartment was immaculate and so nice. The views are stunning you can see the mountains straight out the balcony. Had such a great time would definitely recommend!!

My family and I stayed here while visiting the castles. The apartment is so pretty, clean, and comfortable, it exceeded our expectations. Anything you need, this place has it and more. Nicola was extremely nice and quick to reply, always so helpful. The location is also superb, just a stone's throw from Neuschwanstein and a short drive to Wies church and Linderhof. We enjoyed ourselves immensely here and were so lucky the apartment was available. Would definitely stay again!

Susanne's place in Murnau is very warm. In good weather, the view of the Alps is beautiful and the small terrace in front is very pleasant. We made the majority of walking trips between the studio and Murnau station, it is doable and the path is pleasant, but you have to like walking (about 30' to the center of Murnau and 40' to the train station). Close to the apartment, there is a lady who offers Thai massages. We enjoyed it and enjoyed it.

The location and apartment were great. Fantastic view and everything as described. Very warm welcome and everything uncomplicated. Best starting point for numerous hikes. I'd love to come back

Lovely apartment with views of Neuschwanstein and deer in the grass field. Good base for sightseeing and walks through the hills

My sister and I were super satisfied, the kitchen is well equipped, there is an oven and a microwave. The rest of the apartment is also well equipped and maintained. There are bed linen and towels, even a hair dryer is provided. Would come back any time.

We spent 3 nights in Simone and Sascha's apartment. The apartment is very modern and leaves nothing to be desired in terms of furnishings. The hosts are very nice and gave us recommendations for restaurants and hiking trails in the area right after check-in. We would have liked to have stayed longer. Overall, we enjoyed the short holiday very much and felt completely comfortable in the apartment.

We found Michael's accommodation very nice, clean and quiet. There were already many things available, such as salt, pepper, detergent, soap and toilet paper. There was a lot to do in the area, whether in the mountains or by the lake. Overall, we really enjoyed our holiday at Michael's.

We loved Carolin's space - specially the nice balcony area with nice views of the mountains. It was extremely clean, made us feel welcome and cozy and had a lot of space to enjoy a comforting day after being on the mountains. Carolin was always very attentive and flexible - it was simply smooth and great. I wish I could have stayed there longer :) will come back

A very nice contact with a very good description of the accommodation. We didn't find anything nearby where we could eat something in the evening and then drove to the village, but it wasn't so bad overall, recommended.
