The beautiful Faxe Bay and Noret just outside the house set the frame for a truly wonderful place. The house was named winner of the program Denmark's most beautiful Summerhouse at DR1 (2014). The well appointed 50 m2, with up to 4 meters to the ceiling, is perfect for a couple - but is also ideal for the family with 2-3 children. Year-round, you can bathe in the “Svenskerhull” ml. Roneklint and the small nice island of Maderne, owned by Nysø Castle. 10 km from Præstø. In addition, the landscape is made for beautiful walks – and bike rides.

Start the day with the morning sun on the large terrace overlooking the garden, the animals and field and end the same place with an amazing sunset. The garden has relaxation in hammocks, sandbox, and playhouse for the little ones and several benches around to enjoy the sun. We have many animals that you are always welcome and there is the opportunity to pick berries and flowers in the self-pick garden as well as buy excess from our kitchen garden in the road shed. It only takes 1 hour by car or train to Copenhagen city center

Take the whole family to this amazing home. The old pigeon is just fully renovated after the time has stood still for 35 years. It was in the late '80s that you stopped using the building for pigeons and chickens, and which today stands newly renovated by 80% recycled materials that were supposed to be thrown into construction sites, but were instead used to build this fun little home. Birkehuset er et idyllisk sommerhus i Rekkende, 5 km udenfor Præstø. Huset er placeret roligt ved skovbrynet til Oremandsgårds økologiske skov med marker som nabo. Her er mulighed for afslappende hygge i haven, på terrassen eller ved bålstedet, dejlige gåture i skoven, ture til vandet - knap 1 km væk. En udflugt til Møn kan anbefales, ligesom det er skønt at besøge Præstø med de bedste genbrugs, delikatesse og specialbutikker.

One bedroom apartment containing double bed, sofa corner with TV with possibility of 2 additional beds on the sofa (children), dining area as well as kitchen with oven and fridge. The annex is newly renovated with gentle hand and we have tried to decorate it as cozy as possible. In addition, outdoor nook, weather permitting. It is possible to buy breakfast if we are at home.
