Cozy cabin by the lake with beautiful views from the living room/terrace in a quiet area. The cabin is suitable for couples, families and groups of friends. There are nice hiking areas in the local area; local peaks such as Hest and Himakånå are popular. It is also possible to take a day trip to Preikestolen and Stavanger. The climbing park "Høyt og Lavt" is located 15 min drive from the cabin. In the summer months (May to Sept) it is possible to rent a boat and kayaks. Animals are not allowed in the cabin. Grandma's cabin

100-year-old cabin with small windows and beams in the ceiling. But there is also wireless internet, toilet and kitchen from the 21st century. Great view of the fjord. Large garden, 1.5 acres. Lawn for football, badminton etc. 800 meters to walk to well-maintained, public beach (Aksnesstranda). Alternatively, one can drive there. The garden has herbs, flowers, berries and fruits. The bathroom is small. It has a toilet, sink and a primitive hand shower. New wood stove 2025. Rural, but only 16 mins. to drive to the city's restaurants and attractions.

Relax with family/friends in idyllic surroundings With a view of a small pond, sheep in the fields, and beautiful birdsong, this is a place where you can find peace and quiet. There is plenty of space here for play, bonfire fun and barbecue. There are good sunny spots around the entire cabin. 15-30 min drive to all attractions in Haugaland. To avoid additional fees, we have chosen to include everything in the daily rate. In return, we ask guests to tidy up and do some simple cleaning before departure (see details under house rules).

Skjoldastraumen is an idyllic and quiet place with the possibility of several activities and excursions. The place is probably best known for its saltwater locks that opened in 1908. The saltwater locks are the only ones in Norway that are still in use. The sandy beach at Notaflåt is centrally located and provides bathing opportunities on a nice summer day. Straumen school is also nearby. Here the kids can play and play football. If you drive to Nedstrand, you will find the well-known Himakånå. "Straumen er Draumen"

Cozy cottage "Treet" with lovely views

Nedstrand. The cabin is located next to the path to Himakånå, and has great hiking opportunities. The property is fenced, which makes the place safe for children. The living room window has a great lake view. Bedroom 1 has 2 single beds. Bedroom 2 has 3 beds: 1 bunk bed and 1 cot with a length of 150 cm. Please be aware of grazing animals outside the property. Free parking is about 150m from the cabin, to get up you have to walk a steep climb. A suitcase is not recommended as there is a gravel road.

The climbing park "Høyt og Lavt", shop, joint transport, fishing and swimming opportunities are also nearby.

Go to the lake to take a swim, jump from the jetty, go for a walk in the woods, pick berries, or relax on the large terrace. On stormy days you can light the fireplace and enjoy watching the lake. There is a fire pit on the terrace and a barbecue available. Short distance to the popular trip to Himkånå, Nedstrand and the locks in Skjoldastrømmen.

A quiet area on a small farm in the Norwegian fjords, 3 minutes to walk down to the sea, a fjord that is known for sea eagles and fishing. The buildings are new, set up in old style and you will have two buildings, 'longhouse' and annex. The cottage is located in quiet surroundings and you're going to love our place because it's located right by the fjord. You can easily go fishing and hiking or just relax and enjoying the view. Furthermore, the quiet surroundings make it magical when you take a bath in the jacuzzi while watching the sunset. We highly recommend a hike to Himakånå. It is also possible to take a day trip to the Pulpit Rock.
