The climbing park "Høyt og Lavt" is located 15 min drive from the cabin. During the summer months (May to Sept) it is possible to rent a boat and kayaks. Animals are not allowed in the cabin. Skjoldastraumen is an idyllic and quiet place with opportunities for more activities and excursions. The place is probably best known for its saltwater locks that opened in 1908. The saltwater blades are the only ones in Norway that are still in use. The sandy beach on Notaflå is centrally located and provides swimming opportunities on a nice summer day. Also in the vicinity is the Straumen school. Here, the kids can play and play football. If you drive to Nedstrand, you will not find unknown Himakånå. "Straumen is the Draumen"

Selhammar is a location that is relatively isolated and accessible down a farm track that wanders about 1 km from the public road system. Explore a choice of forest, beaches and mountains just outside your doorstep. The homestead is slowly being restored from abandonment and basic organic principles are practised.

Welcome to Sjøperlå. The cabin is designed like a traditional boathouse and is situated right on the water's edge. You can spend your days fishing directly from the private dock or from a boat available for rent. The terrace is enclosed to shield against the wind. Inside, you'll find a well-equipped cabin, nicely furnished with everything you need and with a nice view from all the rooms. There is also a private sauna where you can warm up before or after a swim from the dock.
