A newly renovated and cozy older house located separately in the forest, with a large living room with fireplace, four spacious bedrooms, and lots of patio. Historical buzz: On the neighboring plot lived artist Anders Svarstad (1869-1943), who was married to Nobel laureate Sigrid Undset, and they were regularly on the farm.

For those who really want to experience the best Weekend Island has to offer. Villa Leonore is a summer house built for tramway director Dybwad's wife Leonore in 1915. A nice garden leads down to a private beach at Mjøsa. Lovely perennial bed and a private kitchen garden to help yourself to. You can relax on the porch with a good book, and cook delicious local and organic food, with the farm and area's own products. There are great hiking opportunities on Helgøya, for walking, running and cycling.
