Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Trøndelag

Marion’s place is a little slice of heaven! Such an amazing view over the fjord, this rustic yet cosy, comfortable home has with everything we needed… (including fluffy towels- a very welcome change!) We enjoyed some down time from our busy holiday schedule, and loved soaking up the location - from coffee by the lounge windows,; a read on the patio, cozying up with blankets. Marion has truly thought of enerything. The laundry in the bathroom is probably the most functional one we’ve had on out travels. A quick 10 min drive to town too to cafes and supermarket, and of course the gondola for amazing fjord views Lastly , Marion was a lovely responsive host, very helpful with local recommendations. If we ever find ourselves in this part of the world - we will definitely stay again!

Beautiful surroundings and very peaceful.

Fantastic stay! Highly recommended. Host communication was easy and efficient. Quick and pleasant responses. Everything is in line with the description. The house was cozy, tidy and nicely decorated, and we felt at home as soon as we entered the door. It was extra nice that it was decorated with freshly picked flowers. Here it is calm and quiet and there is nothing to disturb you. The view over the fjord is fantastic from the terrace. In addition, it was affordable. Thank you! We'd love to come back another time.

Large and nice house in a rural setting. Large living room. Large bedrooms and great bathroom. Clean and tidy.

Great place for a family with children. The large windows of the living room showed trains and descending and ascending planes. However, these sounds did not disturb us. The neighbour is renovating and unfortunately there is a little noise but this is a temporary inconvenience. The apartment was spacious and had everything you need. We'd love to come back if we're coming that way. Thank you.

This was a good and positive surprise. We arrived 6 people after a long drive from Oslo to the place relatively late in the day, but the arrival was completely problem-free and the house had more than everything we needed in every way. Recommended for everyone with a car and who wants to see Trondheim in the most beautiful way possible.

This apartment was aesthetically beautiful - we loved the thoughtful design and chandeliers. It was almost too nice to stay in! We really enjoyed staying there. The location was great and Emma’s entry and exit instructions were very clear. It would be great to add additional pillows and a coffee maker. It was a great stay and we wholeheartedly recommend.

We booked just 1 hour before we arrived. It worked perfectly fine & we had a wonderful night.

Where do I start? This place has a special charm that is shaped by the history and age of the accommodation. Nevertheless, it offers all the amenities for a comfortable stay from a well-equipped kitchen to efficient heating. Although the heaters are electric, they keep the rooms warm and cozy. The place is incredibly spacious, and the location is perfect for walks or skiing right outside the door. In addition, the host is exceptionally friendly and attentive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We would have liked to have stayed longer, but due to a misunderstanding we had to leave earlier than planned. We definitely hope to come back. As I mentioned at the beginning, it's an old place – but that's exactly what gives it a unique, almost magical atmosphere.

Richly furnished house in beautiful surroundings. Had everything we needed. Nice to have several bathrooms when we stayed 7 people there. Close to the city centre and the boat dock. Simultaneously shielded and private. Spacious bedrooms and common areas. Had a super weekend here.

This place is a dream- absolutely beautiful surroundings and views looking out over the Trondheimfjord/ Monkholmen. The inside is very colorful, comfortable, and very cozy. The provided breakfast food was delicious to cook with and we had a blast hiking around the area. It’s a quick commute to Trondheim in our rental car but close enough for Ubers to be an option. 5/5!

We had a lovely stay. The place was very clean and spacious. Great location in a quiet neighbourhood, and it was easy to get to the city centre. The host was very friendly and welcoming. Perfect Wilderness Retreat for Nature Lovers We had a wonderful stay at this cozy and spacious family home. The location is absolutely perfect—nestled in nature, right by the lake, with a large garden and great BBQ facilities. It’s peaceful and scenic, yet conveniently within walking distance to a grocery store. The beds were very comfortable, and the house had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time. We truly felt at home and would love to return for an even longer stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful, natural setting!

Great stay in gorgeous surroundings!

We stayed a week in the very lovingly decorated house, which offers a fantastic view of the fjord due to its direct location on the water. In the house itself you will find everything you need, the kitchen is very well equipped. The beds are comfortable and the living room invites you to cozy get-togethers. You don't have to worry about the lack of heating. The oven brings the house to a pleasant warmth in no time! All really recommended.
