We had the most glorious stay at The Hideaway. The property was perfect, clean, spacious and had everything we needed! Emma and Dave were absolutely brilliant hosts with the best recommendations including beaches, ferry trips and sunset spots. We stayed with our two spaniels who settled in straight away as the space was extremely dog friendly and was like a home from home. It was a great location to access so many amazing parts of Cornwall as well as a lovely place to relax, take in the views and chill out for some much needed down time. I will definitely be recommending, thank you so much ☺️

Steven’s cottage was absolutely perfect for our family of four (with a 6 year old and 1 year old) to explore North Cornwall. It had some lovely touches and there was anything we could have needed. We got very lucky with amazing weather in April but had we needed to stay in there was plenty to keep our children occupied. We enjoyed the time we did spend in the cottage and our 6 year old loved the twin bedroom. Steven provided lots of great recommendations for eating and places to visit which we worked our way through, we particularly loved going to Port William to eat and watch the sunset over Trebarwidth Strand, which is a great beach for children. The harbour beach North of Padstow was our other favourite beach, lovely and secluded and only a short walk from Padstow. Daymer Bay was also lovely. Thank you for all the recommendations, it made deciding what to do each day very easy for busy parents! We hope to return soon :-)

We had a lovely experience staying in this charming cottage, located in the quiet village of Trewalder, just minutes away from Tintagel. Pros: A beautiful, all-wooden cottage with modern bathroom fixtures. Fully equipped kitchen with all appliances, plus thoughtful extras like dishwasher tablets, coffee pods, and biscuits. We enjoyed our first barbecue with friends—coal, wood, and everything we needed was provided. The place was clean, cosy, and very well maintained. Ideal for a larger family or group of friends, with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (1 en-suite). Just a 15-minute drive from Tintagel village. Good Wi-Fi connection and a secure environment. Ample parking space available. The host, Sharon, was responsive and helpful—we were in touch on two separate occasions. Cons: Not much to complain about. Just a heads-up: the location is a bit far if you’re planning day trips to West Cornwall (Penzance, Land’s End, Minack Theatre, etc.), but that’s something to consider when planning

We wanted somewhere quiet and comfortable to stay while we visited this area of North Cornwall. This little cottage certainly fitted the bill. Visiting out of season so the weather wasn't all that it can be we still found the cottage warm and welcoming. Lovely to have a fully fitted kitchen with all necessary utensils for the nights we didn't want to eat out.
