Welcome to Bakkelandet and our beautiful cottage in the middle of the forest, close to the bathing lake 🌲 The house is on a huge natural plot. In summer, you can pick blueberries or sail on the lake in the associated water bike, dinghy or SUP boards. The children can run around freely, and there are plenty of toys, a lovely playhouse and a trampoline. We have a large terrace with a barbecue. We have good experience with both families with children, several generations together and groups of friends. 45 minutes from Legoland. Bring your own bed linen, towels, etc.

Voervadsbro: Stay with access to Gudenåen / campfire

Find the coziness and tranquility when you stay in this nice, newly renovated home. Good access via road 453/461. Nature is right in the backyard, as the house has land directly to the Gudenåen. For those of you who enjoy fishing, hiking, cycling or rowing in a canoe/kayak but want a real bed and a hot shower after an active day. Sit by the fire and pitch your tent by the river. The apartment is on the 1st floor and was thoughtfully and beautifully renovated in the spring of 2023. Bed linen, towels, dishcloths, etc. are included in the price.

Small cottage on a large natural plot close to Gudenåen

The cottage is simple and personally decorated. Still with some of the atmosphere from '67 when it was built. It is located on a large natural plot (3,000 m2) in a protected cottage area, close to Gudenåen with access to a common area with a jetty and its own canoe. The forest, Mossø and the heather hills are just around the corner. On the property, there is an annex that we ourselves have for our products. Sverre is a ceramist and Anne Mette is a weaver. We live (and work) in the neighboring house and are always available when we are home.

Gudenå Annex

Relax with family in this peaceful home close to Gudenåen. We are a family of two adults, and our children, aged 4-10, who rent out our extra guest house/annex in the garden. You will enter inside our private garden, and will during your stay with us, sharing the garden with us as a common area. There is also the possibility that you can be a little more yourself, as you will have your own terrace attached to the annex. Of course, we respect it if you want it to be more private, but there may be children playing in the garden.😊

Annex with private bathroom and private entrance. Small kitchenette with toaster and egg cooker, but not the option to cook hot food. Coffee and tea available free. Wifi NO TV No access to the garden. Small breakfast in the fridge (1 bun, 1 piece of rye bread, cheese, jam, juice) Located in “Vestbyen”, where there are many apartment buildings and townhouses, not so many green areas, but only a 5-minute walk to the prison. Small, cosy 1-bedroom apartment at the end of a large house in a small village. Suitable for a couple on a trip or a tradesman working remotely. The owner lives in the rest of the house. The apartment has its own entrance, its own kitchenette and a bathroom. Nothing is shared with the owner. You can park right outside. Close to forest, heath and swimming lakes. The apartment is about 20 m2 including the large bathroom, small kitchenette with a hotplate, air fryer, fridge/freezer and everything else you need.
