Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Totnes

Great place to stay in Totnes wishing speaking distance of shops. Felt spacious and homely and was probably the most well stocked airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Would definitely stay again when I’m next in the area!

We enjoyed staying at Sarah’s lovely, comfortable house. It is well located close to everything and only 10 minutes walk from the train station by footpath. Sleeping with open windows with fresh soft Devon air is a treat. Bed linens are good quality. We were not overly disturbed by the sounds of seagulls and the church clock. The kitchen is very well appointed. Communication was easy. An excellent place for a long term stay.

Wow. What a beautiful, homely place to stay, close enough to the high street to get to the restaurants in minutes. the pictures of the home don't really do the venue justice, there's such a wonderfully curated sense of design, we felt like we were staying at our own personal hotel. We're definitely going to book this accommodation again next year and can't wait to stay in Totnes again. thank you so much for a lovely stay.

Tilly's is such a beautiful little place! Me and my boyfriend went for a little getaway for 4 nights and we were so impressed with Tilly's. Julie and Keith were great hosts and have done an amazing job with creating such a beautiful place. Julie was so attentive and helpful, easy check-in and out too. The private garden with a nice hot tub and fire place was lovely whilst watching the sunset. We will definitely be returning!

Perfect place for a couple. Centrally located for whole of South Hams area. Really quiet. The host was really welcoming. Accommodation was really well presented and spotlessly clean. Super bathroom and a really comfortable bed. We’d certainly stay there again!

Spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished, had everything we could have wished for. Well positioned for the town centre and beautiful walks along the River Dart. Private parking too which was important to us. Francesca was an amazing host, helpful and friendly but not intrusive. Wished we had booked for a week instead of just a long weekend. Definitely recommend and will return.

What a gem! Beautiful home in a great location to explore from Salcombe to Dartmoor national park. A great home to return to after busy day exploring relaxing with great amenities. We look forward to visiting again.

Absolutely lovely little cottage, so full of character. It's right inside a sweet little town with a church and lovely pub. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable and huge. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Such a great place to stay. It is spotless and Jaquine has thought of everything that you might need from a bottle of fizz to salt and pepper etc. Such a short walk to the beach and famous fish and chips. The scenery is stunning and the location is quiet and relaxing. Fantastic to visit many places of interest nearby.

This has to be the best ever beachfront apartment we have stayed in. Spectacular views, spacious balcony, superbly equipped and everything worked without any hassle. The Leisure Club is an added bonus for me - brilliant pool, fitness equipment and the jacuzzi plus the outdoor terrace and restaurant with great meals, especially the (takeaway available too) fish and chips. The purpose of this trip was a holiday for my 94 year old Mother - above all the apartment was very safe/secure, accessible, the few steps to the 1st floor are manageable and the lift means getting into the apartment is easy. Totally recommend this apartment!

We had an excellent stay here in Newton Abbott! Mike and Anna were really lovely and responsive. Looks like the pics and is a good size for a group of friends, beautiful decor as well. Would definitely go back!

Couldn’t ask for a better stay! My partner and I brought our newborn on his first holiday here to Torbay. We were somewhat anxious about it, but Susan went above and beyond to make us feel at ease and provide everything we needed. The property is stunning, everything is to the best quality, it’s better than most 5 star hotels. We will definitely be back, and would definitely recommend.

Rockpool is a wonderful place to stay! Kay is a friendly, helpful and generous host. We appreciated the lovely treats left in the fridge for us. The location is peaceful and quiet and the accommodation is comfortable, very clean and well equipped.

Great location and beautiful flat. We took our 1 year old with us and it was perfectly suited to him toddling around too. Very clean and modern interior. Would highly recommend!

If we could give Julia and the wonderful apartment more than 5 stars we would! From the minute we made contact she was so helpful, friendly and knowledgable. The apartment was just perfect for the two of us but could easily accommodate a third person. It was so modern, comfortable and spotlessly clean and the attention to detail was outstanding, including the welcome pack. Nothing was too much trouble. The outdoor space was just as lovely as the inside with two separate areas to enjoy our meals outdoors and a glass of wine watching the sunset! Thank you Julia, we will be back, Kathryn and Roger

The flat was beautiful and very comfortable. It is in a built up area but didn’t have trouble finding a parking space. There were lots of lovely touches around the flat that really made it feel like a home from home. Will definitely book it for our next visit to Plymouth.

Probably one of the best Airbnb’s we’ve stayed in. Set in a beautiful location and exactly as photos portray it. Great attention has been paid to making it as comfortable as possible. Hosts were very welcoming and welcome pack was much appreciated. We would thoroughly recommend and hope to return.

This is a smart beautifully decorated flat with very tasteful furniture and fittings. Ideally placed for exploring Ashburton on foot and local beaches and Dartmoor very close. With our daughter living in Buckfastleigh we will be back to stay.

Nice little apartment in a perfect location. Short walk to a beautiful harbour with plenty of bars/restaurants. Apartment itself was clean and tidy, with nice seating area in the courtyard

We had a wonderful week staying at The Courtyard, beautifully furnished and extremely well equipped. Very comfortable upstairs lounge with two balconies to make the most of the views. Plus a lovely courtyard filled with gorgeous greenery making it feel very tropical (and lots inside too). The bed is probably the most comfortable we have slept in! Stoke Fleming is a lovely village with access to the SW coastal path in both directions – the walk to Dartmouth is a must (and get the bus back!) Lots of places to visit in the surrounding area too. Jill’s communication is excellent and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the Courtyard 😊we most certainly hope to return!

A beautiful apartment just a short walk away from the centre of Torquay. Dean was very helpful. I would happily stay here again.

We would highly recommend a staying here for either a short stay or long one. Close to the harbour and you don't need a car to get around the town. The cottage is so cosy and comfortable and you have everything you need here. Rebecca is an awesome host and responded to any questions very quickly. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. A beautiful ground floor apartment in a great location for the sea and local amenities. Everything was presented beautifully and everything you could need was supplied. Karen was always quick to respond to any message. We would be very happy to stay again - certainly one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed at.
