Owl Barn @Strawfields.

StevenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Owl barn was absolutely amazing beautifully decorated all appliances and furnishings you’ll ever need the views from the rear were stunning with the fields and free roaming ponies and sheep right outside the back door. The games room kept our 2 teenager girls occupied which was great for us! Alex was the perfect host couldn’t do enough for us was always on hand if we needed anything. Even took out 2 girls out in the morning with her to attend to the animals which they loved. If I could more than 5 stars I would!! Highly recommend this cottage and host

Shuttaford - Modern Rustic Barn in Dartmoor Valley

HarrietRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a gorgeous stay at Shuttaford Farm. There are so many lovely touches in the barn that you feel right at home, but it all feels very special and thoughtful. Fran was a terrific host - responsive and friendly, and even leant me a spare pair of walking boots when I realised I’d left mine at home! The surrounding area is just stunning - highly recommend a walk through Hembury Woods. Highly recommended for a family trip.

Beautiful Barn Conversion with Sauna and Hot Tub

AlexRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A wonderful peaceful place which felt like a retreat. The owners were friendly and being able to join in with feeding the animals in the morning was great (not just for children). Sauna and hot tub was great. They would check what time we wanted it put on which was considerate. Was a surprise weekend for our mum and was even better than expected. Thank you for the stay x

The surroundings were lovely and a large enclosed garden was great for the dog and our 3 children. we had many a happy night in the hot tub. Lots of things for the kids to play with. Trefronick farm, Carriage house

JulieRating, 5 stars4 months ago
As a family of 8 & 3 generations celebrating Christmas & a special birthday, the farmhouse was simply magical. Will & Danni went above all our expectations with Christmas trees & selection boxes for the kids. The farm looked so beautiful with all the fairy lights & we found everything we needed to cook Christmas dinner for 12! Thank you so much for a simply amazing stay which allowed us to celebrate our first Christmas in six years as a family. We couldn’t recommend you highly enough & hope to be back in the future. Trewinnick Farm Cottage, Tintagel

LukeRating, 5 stars4 months ago
The cottage is in a lovely location with great views from one of the double bedrooms and the conservatory and driveway. It felt very homely with the fire very useful, comfy sofas, thick stone walls. Kitchen is a little small but has everything needed, and has a spacious dining area attached. Comfortably fits 6, even 7 with sofa bed, though the two single bed mattresses feel a bit old. It was at a discounted price however with some more work said to be needed. Lovely woodland walk on the doorstep and coast very close. Very quiet and peaceful. Didn’t find pre-warned damp much of an issue. Amy was helpful and attentive though being in a different time zone. Appreciated the private space. A good find.

Cabin on the Lake

LydiaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had a really lovely bank holiday weekend in the cabin. We had two children with us aged 13 and 6 and they loved it. They enjoyed relaxing in the hammocks, walking the local lanes, fields and woods and getting involved in feeding the farm animals, including horses, pigs, donkeys and chickens. The cabin was super comfy and in a lovely spot for BBQs. All mod cons, we didn't want for anything and the shower warrants a special mention as it was lovely and warm. When packing, if you think you might need it, you probably won't as the cabin is really well equipped with kitchen utensils, fridge, crockery, blankets, cleaning products, towels etc. Sam and Andy are great hosts. We ordered a BBQ pack and some bacon and egg for breakfast. It was all delicious, great quality and lasted us the 2 days. We also booked a donkey walk which was a brilliant way to round off the trip and say goodbye to our furry friends. Andy is great guide, sharing his knowledge about the donkeys and local area 👍👍👍

Victorian Farmhouse stunning views with hot tub.

RachelRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loved our stay at The Vicorian Farmhouse - it was very spacious with plenty of areas to spread out for the nine of us and to give grandparents and teenagers their own space. Very well equipped throughout - kitchen had everything we needed and the bedrooms were all large and beds comfortable (and the bedroom bathroom ratio was excellent). lynne and Frances were on hand and always helpful and even put up a fence to enclose the garden for the dogs. The games room was just what we needed with some rainy weather. I'm sure we'll be back.

Cosy Rural Barn with Private Garden & Hot Tub

SanchiaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This is a lovely Airbnb. We stayed for five days, and had torrential rain for the first few — which we spent snuggled up on the sofas, enjoying the fire and underfloor heating, and making the most of the fully equipped kitchen with incredibly fresh produce from the local farm shops. On the sunny, clearer days, we caught a couple of gorgeous sunsets from the hot tub and even had a go at a bit of stargazing with the telescope provided. The barn is beautifully converted; the way it lets the light in is just something else! Our dog also loved having a garden to run around in and enjoyed meeting the neighbouring cows.

Poole farm pods ,Ruby 2 lodge.

CordeliaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a very relaxed and enjoyable stay in the pod. It’s in a beautiful location, overlooking the sea and rolling hills. The pod is well equipped despite it being small and cosy! It’s close to local beaches and good walking trails. Exmoor National Park is only a short car journey away - highly recommend the Heddon’s Mouth Circular Trail for a relaxed but scenic walk. A big thank you to John who was a great host - really speedy responses, good recommendations and even left us some scones on arrival!

Idyllic countryside cabin with stream and lake.

AndreaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What can I say. Applejacks is an absolute dream of a place to stay. The design of the place and every detail is just beautiful. The mass of open outdoor space, with your own stream and small paddling pond. Sit next to the pond and listen to the stream on the wooden swing seat. Take a walk through the fields, across the bridge and go seek out the lake, where you will find the 3 resident ducks. Enjoy chilling out in the hot tubA short walk to the local shops. Inside the cabin is everything you need. The Sonos music system in the ceiling is just amazing. A portable Bose speaker for outside too. A fridge, a freezer, dishwasher....you name it....they have thought of it. Did we miss not having a T.V.....not at all. The hosts are incredible and we will definitely be back.

Luxury Exmoor Barn with Sauna

LouiseRating, 5 stars2 months ago
A beautiful place to stay. Stunning beams in the bedroom, very well restored, spotless modern bathroom with infa red sauna and electric shower. Lots of wildlife can be heard at night. Fantastic wood burner with under floor heating downstairs. Easy walk to Exford. Great village shop with all you need and 2 pubs. We drove to Withypool and walked to Tarr Steps which was an 8 mile round trip but a great excursion in glorious late February sunshine. Lovely view from the garden at the pub at Tarr Steps and the food was good too. We love Exmoor as it is an unspoilt gem with so much peace and nature to surround yourself in. Everyone you meet is friendly which also helps. Photos of this place do not do it justice!

Idyllic Country House on a Farm

MichaelRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Fantastic !!! Booked this home as part of my wifes 70th birthday celebrations for 6 adults and 3 grandchildren aged 3,6 & 9. Tracy met us on arrival to show us around this wonderful house and pass on everything we needed to know. The house in real life is better than the photos. It is so spacious and as my granddaughter said Tracy has thought of everything there is so much for us to do. Tracy also left us a lovely home made cake. The kitchen was a great communal place with a 10 seater table overlooking the amazing outdoor space via two sets of patio doors. A great way to start the day. All rooms were a good size. Outdoors there is a beautiful large garden with a trampoline for the kids, a gas bbq for the adults a barn with a table tennis table and a host of toys and ride on vehicles for the little ones. Go through the gap at the end of the garden to the very popular tree house Nobody wanted to leave after a fantastic couple of days. This is a great house.

The Hop House, a hidden gem in the Tamar Valley.

CaitlinRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The loveliest, most peaceful little paradise for a couple of days away from reality! The house was deceptively big with everything you need for a little stay, and great recommendations from Louise and Andrew on local amenities, pubs etc. Louise met us on arrival, walked us to the house and advised on using the hot tub. Otherwise left us to it but both Louise and Andrew were very responsive to messages as appropriate. The house was done up nicely and very clean, and the farm itself is beautiful and very peaceful. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Cosy, straw bale barn, walking access to Dartmoor

LucyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A beautiful barn in peaceful surroundings. Pared back luxury. Simplistic design that lends itself to relaxation. The kitchen was extremely well equipped (one of the best we’ve experienced). Well thought through touches such as the delicious home made jam, along with the great selection of coffee pods and teas just added to our stay. I loved waking up to the views of the trees and going to sleep staring at the stars. There was plenty of wood for the wood burner and the fire fit. We would definitely book again, when next visiting Devon.
