Just got back from a birthday weekend at The Potting Shed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay perfect for a birthday weekend! We were pleasantly surprised to discover what a charming, quintessentially Yorkshire village Tockwith is. So beautiful all around not far from York. Kathleen was so helpful and friendly, very responsive to our questions and made us so welcome. Nothing was too much to ask. We would greatly consider staying here again, highly recommend.

Beautiful weekend break, lovely surroundings and amazing hosts and place

Lovely place to stay for a couple of days to himker down and relax feeling almost off grid, but with a few amenities. Set in a tranquil village that felt like it was in a sleepy doze during the day. We relaxed with all windows and doors open as the breeze wafted through and we kept catching the aromas of the hyacinths the owner had left in a vase in the table. A lovely little get away. Would highly recommend.
