In 1 word: Wow! We really enjoyed it there! We had nothing missing, very nicely decorated and this in a prime location. If you don't become zen here, then nowhere... Otto and Nathalie, you are more than worthy of the 5 stars!

We had a fantastic time it was absolutely as described the pool was warm and we made full use of the basement pool table and the amazing cinema. Stijin was there to greet us and explain everything about the property. There were 6 of us 4 adults and two children lots of space . Would highly recommend anybody to rent this place for a perfect stay in Gent

Beautiful location with a beautiful view over the meadows. Ghent and Bruges around the corner. Perfect base to enjoy. Daniel and Nathalie also respond quickly to messages. Absolutely recommended.

We stayed 2 nights with 7 people in Kris' Airbnb. The accommodation was exactly like the photos and we liked it very much. The house was beautifully spacious and had all the facilities / stuff you need. Think of the necessities for the barbecue, herbs, coffee, tea, etc. During our stay, we were lucky that the weather was beautiful, so the pool came in handy. The contact with Kris went smoothly and quickly. We also liked that the check-out time was flexible so we could leave at our leisure. We had a great stay where there was little to criticize. If you had to give a point of feedback, it is that 1 bathroom for 7 (or 8) people is actually just not enough. We knew this in advance, but a 2nd bathroom would be useful. Thanks again for everything! See you next time!

We were completely satisfied with the stay. Check-in would have been possible much earlier, the accommodation was sparkling clean and lovingly prepared upon arrival. The hostess was always quickly available to us and very helpful. The house itself is freshly renovated and ultra-modern. The garden is large and the beach is within walking distance. The parking for four vehicles directly at the house is also great. We enjoyed the stay very much and can recommend Grete and the accommodation without reservation.

Had a brilliant time here, beautiful house and garden. Swimming pool & hot tub were a great addition. Perfect break for the two of us and Frédéric was the perfect host. Would highly recommend!

Very pleasant stay, short distances to the city centre of Antwerp and yet in nature.

We had a great weekend in Jokes beautiful house. The house is the perfect blend of functional and loving - there is something to discover everywhere. It was very clean and well appointed. The location is great. The house is in a quiet location and yet you can be in Antwerp city centre in a few minutes. Joke has great tips for getting there by car or bike and is a great contact when it comes to nice cafes and activities. We were totally happy and would love to come back! 😊

We had a fantastic stay! The apartment is beautiful, stylish, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The kitchen had all the essentials, which made cooking easy and enjoyable. It’s also incredibly family-friendly, our kids loved the toys, books, toddler bed, and the slide in the backyard! The space is full of lovely plants, giving it a cozy and refreshing atmosphere, and the green backyard was a peaceful bonus. The host was super responsive, helpful, and kind throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, highly recommended!

Everything went very well at Stefan's. Very well-equipped accommodation. You feel at home. Quiet neighborhood with amenities available on foot (bakery, supermarket,). Scheldt River is also within walking distance for a short walk.

Fantastic accommodation for two people. Beautifully designed old building full of antiques and modern amenities. It’s worth staying for the floor and wall tiles alone. Set just out of town with beautiful gardens manicured by Björn and Luc who are amazing hosts. Great stay. Highly recommend.

Sanne's house was beautiful and exactly as pictured. We loved the comfortable beds and appreciated the fans since it was quite hot during our stay. The location was near a grocery store and many shops and restaurants. We also loved all of the practical items provided by Sanne, such as scissors, tape, and travel guides. It was a great place to stay!

RECOMMENDED!! Very much enjoyed this piece of paradise! The modern house really has everything you need in terms of comfort and luxury, including a very well-equipped kitchen! Enormously enjoyed the tranquility and nature around the house, so beautifully located next to the large pond in the woods. The garden is huge and full of beautiful old trees, much more beautiful than you can see in the photos! The host Laurens is very friendly and he always responded very quickly and also gave a lot of practical info & tips. Very thoughtful too, the welcome gifts (cava and chocolate) made me feel very welcome. Absolutely one of my very best Airbnb experiences. Perfectly located, not far from Antwerp, Ghent and Bruges, also a nice trip to the sea in Dutch Zeeland. Very close. I'll definitely be back!!

What an amazing house! A very nice atmosphere, it felt to me like the house was embracing you. Beautiful location, in the middle of the city and yet very quiet. Beautiful green garden. Bart is a great host. We were very kindly received. Definitely recommended if you like a house with character. I also found the story behind this house very inspiring and beautiful. Thank you Bart! Our stay was short but we would love to come back!

We LOVED our stay at Esteban and Joroen's. We had been attracted to the listing by the beautiful photos of the lush garden, the first floor outside decking , the bright interiors and the sense of peace and calm that was radiating out from the pictures. It was amazing to discover that it felt exactly like we had hoped and looked just as the photos but even more so. Such a peaceful and tranquil setting with everything we could need and more. We enjoyed three blissful days of cycling into Ghent on the provided bicycles, exploring the town and enjoying the food and drink options at the vast array of pavement cafe's and bars. In the evenings , after a stop at the nearby supermarket on our way back from town, we enjoyed the hot tub and then some drinks on the decking as we watched the sunset before preparing and eating dinner to the sounds of the wonderful assortment of vinyl that is on offer. In the mornings it was yoga in the lounge, surrounded by the plants, and then a cuppa on the deck

had a great stay. everything was in order. As described in the advertisement. location was also fine. everything is within walking distance. enough space also to park the car. you got the feeling of sitting somewhere outside. but still it was close to the center

The place was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed. It was lovely looking out onto the garden which was very relaxing. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it. There was also secure storage for our bikes.

Highly recommended. It is a beautiful mansion in a great location. Well furnished, equipped with all comforts, clean, cozy, nothing was missing. Good communication with a friendly host. You step out the door and are in the middle of Antwerp South, a beautiful neighborhood with plenty of terraces and nice restaurants, pubs. The best airbnb we've ever had
