It was great in Lokeren. Els is a very friendly hostess, we were even able to enter the house earlier than expected, which is located on the edge of a quiet residential area on a nature reserve. There is nothing wrong with the apartment at all, it is large enough for 4-6 people, there are plenty of dishes, it is nicely decorated. If it had been warmer, we could have used the terrace as well. We highly recommend the house and location. Lokeren is a small quiet place with everything you need and an ideal base for Bruges, Ghent, Brussels and Antwerp (35 minutes by train).

We really had a dream weekend in this beautifully designed cottage. Everything you need for a perfect weekend getaway. Everything looks super aesthetic but also very nice to use. We felt very at home there and at ease. Owners also really friendly and open 😊

Have stayed here before, and will hopefully get the opportunity to again. We are Americans here for cycling and exploring. This is our favorite cycling get away with the classic bergs, endless carriage roads, and safety. Other cyclists and even some pros stay here on camps and around de ronde. This is a cyclist dream. I could not be happier with the experience with Brigitte and great communication. Walking to Centrum is easy. We recommend MonkeyBar, De Priorij van Elsegem, Martiko, and Pizzeria Peppe as great restaurants a close walk by. Just next door, the people at Pink Panther pub were very friendly for a pre-dinner drink. Jone koffiebar and Rogge are great for espresso and a pastry, as well as the Centrum de ronde. The town of Oudenaarde is full of very kind people. Many know English and those who do not have been patient and accommodating. The short drive to Ghent to visit Gravensteen and castle area is also well worth it. Don’t stay home. Too much to see. Get out ther

Lies cottage was so cozy and pristine. The shower was luxurious with a misty yet firm pressure rainfall shower head. All amenities were available as described- the towels and bedding smelled heavenly. The rooms are situated on 2nd floor on either side of the residence so was helpful to have some space from travel partners. There is no bathroom on the second floor so if you are uncomfortable taking stairs at night this may be a challenge for nighttime potty trips. That said, the stairs were very sturdy. Hosts were very responsive and helpful- WiFi worked great and the cottage was even cuter in person. Would absolutely recommend this place as a landing spot if you are looking to do daytrips to various cities (quite close to Bruges and Ghent).

We had a nice and relaxing stay. Very nice and clean cottage with a beautiful view. On Saturday evening we enjoyed 2 hours of wellness that is located in the same building. Clean and warm wellness with the correct explanation of the hosted. Definitely recommended!

Dirk and Renate were great hosts. Friendly and responsive, and always happy to help. The house was beautiful, the photos don’t do it justice as it is much bigger in reality in my opinion. The upstairs bedrooms are huge, each with a large double bed and a couch, one of which is a sofa bed. The downstairs bedroom is like a hotel with a huge ensuite. The kitchen is modern and pristine and the enclosed garden is a big plus with children. We hope to visit again in the future when visiting our brother who lives nearby.

We were on site with seven adults, one child and a dog and had a very nice stay. Everything was perfect. The place offers the opportunity to get together or spread out in different places. The location is very quiet and invites you to relax, while many excursion destinations (Bruges, Ghent, the Atlantic coast) can be reached by car in half an hour or less. We have recovered well and will probably be back.

Jana's family house is like taking a holiday in your friend’s warm family. The SPA will make your day. Big space for every family member, as well as the common area to share together. Natural environment with comfort stay, highly recommended!

We had a great stay at Regine’s place. It was a super cute little place with views over the fields watching the sheep graze. We also enjoyed her breakfast full of local produce from her garden and chickens. Regine was a lovely kind host.
