We would love to welcome you to our unique John Scott home/apartment (with radiators!). The New Zealand Architect, John Scott, was an eccentric chap and was renowned for designing unique buildings. Our home doesn’t disappoint and we are excited to share it with the air bnb community. A self contained wing of our home is located in a tranquil spot. A five minute drive or a stroll along the lakefront will get you into town. We are a few minutes walk from the Botanical Gardens and the lakefront.

Kowhai Retreat

We are a working professional couple who have lived in Taupo for 30 years. We have both been vaccinated for the Covid pandemic. We would like to wish a warm welcome to singles or couples. We do not accommodate infants, children or animals. We are a hop, skip and a jump from the stunning Taupo lake front and easy 25 minute stroll in to town, 3 minutes by car. Happy to host short or longer stays. Super convenient location for our Taupo events!

Ideal year-round, it has outdoor areas with BBQ, large windows and a double-sided fireplace. Whakaipo Bay is 5 minutes away for swimming or walking, with plenty of bush tracks nearby. Not suitable for children. Washing machine, hairdryer, toiletries and iron not provided.
