Cozy place near Preikestolen

We have recently (2024) renovated the basement of the house where we live, and are now ready to welcome guests who want to visit this lovely city! We are a family of 5 with small children who live upstairs, so some sound from children's feet running across the floor is to be expected. In return, we can offer what is needed for a nice stay with great beds, spacious rooms, a well-equipped kitchen and toys/games for both children and adults. There is free parking in the carport and the possibility of charging an electric vehicle.

Guests have access to their own terrace and a part of the garden (nature garden, with some slopes). Welcome to our spacious basement apartment, just 50 meters from the sea. In addition, this apartment is just a 15-minute drive from the beautiful Preikestolen. With the apartment you will also have access to a spacious garden with outdoor furniture, trampoline and table tennis table. A grocery store, pharmacy, as well as cafés and restaurants are within walking distance. There are great hiking opportunities in the area and you are only a 20-minute drive away from Stavanger. Not far from Pulpit Rock

Walking distance to shops, pharmacy, doctor's and dentist's office. Lots of lovely trip opportunities. Our home is not far away from the Pulpit Rock. It takes 20 minute to travel to Stavanger city with car. There is bus stop not far from our house. You can find berries and mushrooms in the woods, and if you like to fish in the sea and water it is also possible. It is quiet and peaceful where we live. We have a large garden where you can relax and play.

The apartment maintains a high standard and has a unique location. Hiking possibilities just outside the apartment. 15 min walk from the city center of Jørpeland. 10 min w/car to start of the hike to Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock) Close to other popular desinations like Kjerag and Lysefjorden. Please be aware that a lady normally lives here, so the apartment reflects this with personal items, photos and children’s drawings on the walls.
