The old house at Solnes Gard

Part of duplex on active farm. We are the third generation to run the farm after my husband's grandparents got the farm as a wedding gift. Here you get to stay in the original farmhouse from about 1950. We live in the other part of the residence ourselves. Cozy place, fully furnished and with everything you need for shorter or longer stays. We have 8 alpacas and many goats on the farm. You can join us in caring for them on demand and if we have the opportunity in a busy everyday life when we are in full-time work and have four small children.

Helle Gard - Cozy cabin - fjord and glacier view

The cabin is situated on a farm at Helle in Sunnfjord, in a beautiful scenery at Førdefjorden. It has an amazing view to the fjord and the majestic snow top mountain with a glacier. It lies close to the fjord and a small beach. Perfect place for hiking, fishing and relaxation in a rural retreat. Nearest supermarked is in Naustdal, 12 km from the cabin, and local cafe/shop is 10 min away. Free WiFi in the cabin. Motorboat for rent (summer season). Self service farm shop with fresh eggs!

Old courtyard

The "hills" is originally a small farm from about 1880-1900. Completely renovated. Outhouse/annex with a larger activity room upstairs, and a smaller "outdoor living" downstairs. Great views of a smaller valley lane and an old farm alley. Just next to the property is a smaller river and 15-20 minutes walk away is a water where rowing boat is available. Great hiking areas all around. It is about 900 m from Åmotsvegen to Bakkene. Parking for 2 or more cars.
