Nice cosy house in a quiet and peaceful village.

This was a win for us. So comfy, close to town, everything you could poss need including many hooks and places to put our things. And Kurt was above and beyond accommodating us when we misplaced the house key. Highly recommend this airbnb.

Stein-Ove and Marita are the best possible hosts, as they do their ultimate best to make sure that their guests have a phenomenal experience, in their fabulous house, in the unique environment of Lofoten. What stands out the most, from my view, is that the guests get the real experience of real life in such remote area of the world. This was my and my wife's intention, totally fulfilled beyond expectations, and we will never forget what we saw and how we felt. The house is situated in a magnificent location, between splendid mountains and coastline, and still easily accessible via a road where there is very little traffic, which ensure total peace. We felt what it means to have a family life in Lofoten, basically the experience cannot be more authentic, truly. Needless to say, the house was spotlessly clean and had all facilities to feel at home, e.g. we could use the kitchen to have a peaceful dinner overlooking the ocean. In brief, if you want the real experience, do book this house!

Elin's house was very cozy and very clean, I totally recommend it, Hans greeted us with these words "Welcome to paradise", and the truth is that it was, a very quiet and cozy place, the house has a dock and we had a Kayak to use, thanks to Hans for the fish he gave us, it was very tasty.

We absolutely loved our stay at Angelita’s Rorbu! It is spectacular. The views are breathtaking at all times of day - it’s such a peaceful and tranquil place to wind down while exploring Lofoten. The apartment is gorgeous inside and Angelita provided every possible amenity to make it feel like home. We loved cooking in the kitchen with local seafood (and Angelita’s incredible seaweed products - her shop is a must-visit)! We really appreciated the tranquil location away from the crowds but only 5 minutes or so from town for grocery shopping, etc. We loved the location of the rorbu in Lofoten. We explored towns, hiked, wandered and followed many of Angelita’s recommendations - and then loved winding down in the evenings at this magical spot! Angelita was responsive, helpful and so kind. We would love to return and stay here in the future!!

Anne’s home is clean, beautiful, and welcoming. Location is great. Nice view of the water and mountains in the background. Close proximity to town and shopping. The downstairs bathroom is nice and renovated. The beds are comfortable. Very quiet at night. Just be aware that there are some of the owner’s clothes and personal items in drawers and closets. Overall I would recommend Anne’s place to anyone visiting Lofoten.

Was on a girls' trip in Svolvær with mountain hikes and fun. All four of us were very happy to stay in the cozy house on Svinøya. Well-equipped kitchen, clean, and very charming. We felt at home, and will remember it for the next girls' trip.🩷

Beautiful and peaceful surroundings . Lovely and cosy house. Felt right at home. Well located - close to Leknes (just 15 mins away) and most tourist spots are within 30 minutes. Host is responsive and has an efficient streamlined system. Instructions are crisp and direct. We recommend :)

Very friendly and accommodating host couple. We spent four wonderful weeks in this very beautiful accommodation. The service was perfect. The hostess even took us on her dog walks. Not only were we thrilled, but our dog Buddy also felt at home from the start and picked up his treats day after day. The personal excursion tips were also particularly valuable. If you’re looking for a place to relax with family, this is a perfect fit. The rental is spacious and well appointed. Everything you need for cooking is available as well as a grocery store just a few minutes away by car. Sven is helpful and responsive to questions. The environment is quiet, scenic, and peaceful.

Great stay for exploring the south of the Lofoten Islands. It has everything you need for a few nights. Privileged location close to beautiful hiking trails.

We came to Norway to see how we like it. My wife and I have travel 11 months per year, and we started this almost 7 years ago. We enjoy warmth and hospitality of tentsl places of Croatia, Portugal or Greece. Our impressions here in Norway has not been great at all. However, Hege is an Exception. She's the only one who was generous and hospitable. If we came here again, she would be the one to contact. Others were so stingy that we decided not to return. Very lovely country, but rental owners' class does not match the magnificence of the spectacular land. Hege's place is clean, very well furnished, I could say exceptionally well. She offers lots of extras. She works hard for good reviews, which translates into better business opportunities. Other places similarly rated do not come even close. I think people are afraid to voice their true feelings so they give all star ratings to mediocre establishments. Hege, thank you and good luck!

a wonderful stay in the apartment of Anne Marie. we enjoyed the quiet environment and at the same time very near the E 10. it felt like home!

Anne Lise is a wonderful, responsive and available host. They helped us with all the information we needed. Nusfjord is a paradise on earth. I couldn't recommend staying in Nusfjord and at Anne Lise's accommodation any more. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, we felt at home. The fact that there is a private parking space at the door is incredible. The local population in Nusfjord is very friendly and helpful. The bakery/bakeri is wonderful, the best in Lofoten. A delight! We were also lucky enough to be visited by a friendly couple of rabbits, who happily hopped through the forest behind the house. Everything is wonderful there! I totally recommend it. What a great place to stay! Unlike many other listings on Airbnb, this apartment felt like a home and not a holiday rental. It’s very nicely decorated with among others beautiful plants, the bed has the greatest comfort you could think of, the kitchen has everything you need; pots and pans, plates, etc are all of high quality. Everything in this apartment feels premium. And on top of that, Hilde is a perfect host. She even passed by to ask if everything was ok and we had a nice chat. If I could give this apartment and Hilde more than five stars, I would be glad to do so. I highly recommend staying here!

The room was big and clean, there was no shampoo and body soap, prepare it yourself though

The apartment was clean and nicely decorated. The bed is only 120 cm, you should be aware of that. The location is good, you can do great hikes there and quickly reach other places by car. André was hospitable and it was easy to communicate with him.

Trine’s place is our home away from home for 4 nights. Everything is perfect and the view is to die for, so breathtaking. Excellent communication and quick to respond. We highly recommend Trine’s place, if you see it available, don’t hesitate to book it.

Very stylishly furnished apartment with views of the harbor entrance and the arrival of the Hurtigrut ships. Public sauna right next door, best restaurant of northern Norway about a 20-minute walk.

This is a great place to stay. Spacious, well equipped and centrally located. It has everything you need for a year round visit, and is really handy for public transport, shops and the town centre. Kjersti is a wonderful host - kind, friendly and very helpful. I will definitely look to stay here again.

Stayed on a whirlwind trip with my spouse and 17-year old son. We all loved the place and wished we could have stayed longer. Regardless of the weather or time of day, the views were amazing. The heated floors were a bonus! Thanks, Kirsti for the tour and detailed instructions.

The apartment was super clean, we had all we need, the location is perfect! The host was super friendly, helped us to get to the accommodation from the ferry as there was no bus! Loved all the details! We had a great stay!

We had the pleasure of staying 8 days over Easter at Roger's apartment in Ballstad. We have traveled home incredibly happy and satisfied. The apartment is lovely and central with walking distance to everything from shopping to hiking routes to bus stop. Check-in was super easy and no problem. The apartment lived up to the photos. The bed and duvets were great. The bathroom had a great shower and was clean and tidy. The kitchen lacked nothing and the living room invited for coziness. Outside there was a table and bench we had lunch by and enjoyed the view. It was a great luxury that we didn't have to clean the head, just put the towels in the laundry basket. Thank you for that. All in all, we felt incredibly at home, and could have easily taken another week. We would recommend the place and Roger as a host to anyone who would like to visit Ballstad. Roger was a great host who helped us get home as no buses drove from Ballstad. 100% worth a visit and a place we want to come back to.
