Nice cozy, peaceful, and private home to spend time in Lofoten. The home has all the amenities you could want and the kitchen was well-stocked. It was very clear that the hosts took extra steps to make the stay was comfortable for their guests. The surroundings were peaceful and picturesque. If we get to visit Lofoten again, we’d be sure to stay here!

This was a win for us. So comfy, close to town, everything you could poss need including many hooks and places to put our things. And Kurt was above and beyond accommodating us when we misplaced the house key. Highly recommend this airbnb.

Stein-Ove and Marita are the best possible hosts, as they do their ultimate best to make sure that their guests have a phenomenal experience, in their fabulous house, in the unique environment of Lofoten. What stands out the most, from my view, is that the guests get the real experience of real life in such remote area of the world. This was my and my wife's intention, totally fulfilled beyond expectations, and we will never forget what we saw and how we felt. The house is situated in a magnificent location, between splendid mountains and coastline, and still easily accessible via a road where there is very little traffic, which ensure total peace. We felt what it means to have a family life in Lofoten, basically the experience cannot be more authentic, truly. Needless to say, the house was spotlessly clean and had all facilities to feel at home, e.g. we could use the kitchen to have a peaceful dinner overlooking the ocean. In brief, if you want the real experience, do book this house!

We absolutely loved our stay at Angelita’s Rorbu! It is spectacular. The views are breathtaking at all times of day - it’s such a peaceful and tranquil place to wind down while exploring Lofoten. The apartment is gorgeous inside and Angelita provided every possible amenity to make it feel like home. We loved cooking in the kitchen with local seafood (and Angelita’s incredible seaweed products - her shop is a must-visit)! We really appreciated the tranquil location away from the crowds but only 5 minutes or so from town for grocery shopping, etc. We loved the location of the rorbu in Lofoten. We explored towns, hiked, wandered and followed many of Angelita’s recommendations - and then loved winding down in the evenings at this magical spot! Angelita was responsive, helpful and so kind. We would love to return and stay here in the future!!

Anne’s home is clean, beautiful, and welcoming. Location is great. Nice view of the water and mountains in the background. Close proximity to town and shopping. The downstairs bathroom is nice and renovated. The beds are comfortable. Very quiet at night. Just be aware that there are some of the owner’s clothes and personal items in drawers and closets. Overall I would recommend Anne’s place to anyone visiting Lofoten.

Such a nice house in beautiful surroundings! Me and my girlfriend needed a place to stay last minute after our original booking at another place was not what we expected. Eirin responded fast and everything was set up when we arrived! Perfect stay!!

Hilde‘s home is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed in. It’s elegant, cozy, warm, beautifully decorated, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make yourself feel completely at home. There are baskets of sweaters so you can sit warmly on the balcony and watch the water and the light change. She has thought of every detail you might want to be able to relax fully and enjoy this unusual island. She even has binoculars for you to use to watch the birds and any sea animals that might come by. She was helpful, kind and timely in every interaction I had with her. I could stay here happy for a month and perhaps I will another time!

Very friendly and accommodating host couple. We spent four wonderful weeks in this very beautiful accommodation. The service was perfect. The hostess even took us on her dog walks. Not only were we thrilled, but our dog Buddy also felt at home from the start and picked up his treats day after day. The personal excursion tips were also particularly valuable. An amazing place to spend your travel days. It’s creative, contemporary, lots of natural light and all white and woody. It’s so beautifully done that you feel like not stepping out. Loved the place, loved the surrounding, loved the warmth of Marco and the awesome local tips and recommendations that made the trip all the more memorable! From the Lofoten Vibes to works best cinnamon rolls, to the fire place to the varied book collection and the outstanding balcony view!!! Thanks a lot Marco and hope to visit again :)

If you’re looking for a place to relax with family, this is a perfect fit. The rental is spacious and well appointed. Everything you need for cooking is available as well as a grocery store just a few minutes away by car. Sven is helpful and responsive to questions. The environment is quiet, scenic, and peaceful.

This is one of my favorite AirBnbs ever. It is right by the water, walkable to everything you need in Svolvær—groceries, car rental, bars, restaurants, saunas, shops, cafes—and it was very peaceful. I spent my mornings in the enclosed back patio where you can see mountains towering over you (and sometimes a fat grey cat prowling around!). Sarah was a superb host-responsive, kind, and even left me a cold beer, which I needed after a long travel day. You probably can’t find a better place to stay in town.

The apartment is very spacious and the kitchen very well equipped. Everything was very clean and cozy. It is an ideal stop for a Lofoten tour.

Lovely place in an even better location! I’ve got to say this was one of the most well-equipped properties I’d been in. They had everything from washing powder, dishwasher tablets and kitchen items, even a pair of binoculars! I’d definitely recommend this place.

Anne Lise is a wonderful, responsive and available host. They helped us with all the information we needed. Nusfjord is a paradise on earth. I couldn't recommend staying in Nusfjord and at Anne Lise's accommodation any more. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, we felt at home. The fact that there is a private parking space at the door is incredible. The local population in Nusfjord is very friendly and helpful. The bakery/bakeri is wonderful, the best in Lofoten. A delight! We were also lucky enough to be visited by a friendly couple of rabbits, who happily hopped through the forest behind the house. Everything is wonderful there! I totally recommend it. Trine’s place is our home away from home for 4 nights. Everything is perfect and the view is to die for, so breathtaking. Excellent communication and quick to respond. We highly recommend Trine’s place, if you see it available, don’t hesitate to book it.

We had a great stay at Beate’s place. Communication with her was fast and easy—she was always responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. The apartment was clean and in a convenient location, close to grocery stores and other shops, which made getting what we needed really simple. Very stylishly furnished apartment with views of the harbor entrance and the arrival of the Hurtigrut ships. Public sauna right next door, best restaurant of northern Norway about a 20-minute walk.

This is a great place to stay. Spacious, well equipped and centrally located. It has everything you need for a year round visit, and is really handy for public transport, shops and the town centre. Kjersti is a wonderful host - kind, friendly and very helpful. I will definitely look to stay here again.
