There are heath and woodland walks, RSPB Minsmere and a great village pub a short walk from the hut. You’ll love my place because of the cosiness, the comfy beds, the wood burning stove, the dark night sky and the views across the meadow. Fen Lodge is suitable for families, couples and solo adventurers. (Self-catering breakfast baskets £22 for veggie/£25 for meaty).

Our Shepherds hut is situated in the corner of our field surrounded by hedging and stunning views. If you’re a keen cyclist there’s many different routes in the area as well as many footpaths for avid ramblers. If star gazing is your thing then we can promise you we are not affected by light pollution and if you’re lucky you’ll hear our resident owls too.

Under 2 hours from London and an hour from Cambridge, we are 3.5 miles from the historic town of Eye, which has grocery stores, butcher's and a fantastic deli. Rural, yet under a mile away from two of the best food pubs in Mid-Suffolk, you will be staying in the heart of the East Anglian countryside surrounded by fields, woodland and wildlife.

Perfect for reactive dogs. Up to two large or three medium dogs welcome (even on the bed - we provide throws). A perfect getaway under the stars. Wonderful wood-fired hot tub available (for a fee). We live just outside the pretty village of Westleton, a five minute drive to Dunwich beach and a short bike ride to the RSPB Minsmere. Southwold and Aldeburgh are also close by. The Shepherds hut has its own field, full of wild flowers and wildlife with beautiful views across the fields. On a clear night stargazing is breathtaking and most mornings the bird song will wake you! This is simple living!
