BALTHASAR RESS Guesthouse am Rebhang im Rheingau

The "Balthasar Ress Guesthouse" is the guest house of the renowned Balthasar Ress winery in the Rheingau. Primarily designed for the winery's own guests, it is also sometimes available to other guests. The architect's house is located in the "Rebhang" settlement, one of the most exclusive and beautiful residential areas in the Rheingau wine-growing region. The settlement is located at an altitude of around 400 m, around 300 m above the Rhine and is surrounded by meadows, vineyards and the forest.

Welcome to Vintner’s View, a townhouse from 1880. Once a wine merchant’s house. Carefully curated pieces from different eras and styles blend harmoniously throughout this former wine merchant’s house, creating a home full of character, warmth and charm with the original Dutch-style staircase connecting the floors. Set in the very heart of Bacharach, the house enjoys views of St. Peter’s Church, the castle, the vineyards above town, and, in winter, the iconic silhouettes of Werner Chapel.

Feel good in the vineyards

Take a vacation in the luxurious ambiance of our guest house. It is part of our SCHOTTENHOF winery and integrated into our farm building. The closest neighbor is about 100 meters away. The 4-hectare courtyard is idyllically located in the middle of the vineyards and is accessible on two sides at ground level. You can start hiking or cycling directly from the yard. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, including a wine refrigerator. Beer pong party people please do not book!
