On the edge of a "jøl" (a type of riverbank), created by the river's thousand-year effort to reach the fjord, the cabin partially floats in the terrain. Situated completely by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking the cultural landscape and village, this is a perfect place for both relaxation and activity.

The cabin is located in a high and open position on a farm 270 metres above sea level. Here you have a view in all directions. Towards Hoven Restaurant/Loen Skylift, Loen, Olden, the fjord and the surrounding mountains. Right outside the cabin, you have many hiking opportunities. Among other things, you can walk to Rakssetra and continue to the Hoven/Loen skylift mountain. Gamlestova at Juv

Juv is much more than just a house and a bed! Gamlestova was the original farmhouse and has the same amazing views as Juvsøyna on Juv and Gamletunet on Juv. From the canopy bed in the living room you can wake up to the sunrise and if you are lucky follow a tourist boat on its way to Olden with your eyes. In the evening you can fire up the stove, feel the good heat, read a good book and fall asleep to the light of the flames and the sound of the wood stove nearby. NB! Outdoor hot tub and car charger are not included in the rental price.
