Cottage holiday rentals in Stichtse Vecht

What an amazing place to stay it with kids, there was so much space around the lodge which all felt really safe to let them explore different activities. There was a quite a few groups there but it was never noisy or overcrowded. The lodges were really cool and different to what we stayed in previously, it did go a little cold one of the nights we were there but they were still comfortable and nice (you can rent heaters if needed). We would 100% come back in the future if we travel that way again. We went for a trip to Amsterdam which was easy to get to and Sprookjeswonderland which I would recommend too with children under 6/7

Jokelien and her partner were kind, thoughtful, and enjoyable hosts. The house is situated in a peaceful and beautiful place, they anticipated many things we didn't even know that we needed. The property was charming, clean, and wonderfully located. They had recommendations which made our visit smooth, comfortable and special. Highly recommended!

Our recent stay was for 4 nights, but we wished we had booked longer. The property was very clean, very modern and had parking that was safe and easy to find. after the long drive the hot tub was hot and lovely to relax in! We loved that the property was accommodating for animals and we immediately felt at home with the very friendly hosts. we would definitely stay again.

The cottage is exactly as shown in the pictures and super convenient for families with small children. The garden and the bath tub are a dream and you have many, great Excursion destinations. We will be super happy to come back! Kind regards from Germany.

We loved Claudia’s place! It far exceeded all our expectations and was even nicer than the pictures suggest. An incredibly beautiful area so close to the waterfront from some gorgeous sunsets. 15 mins walk from the small village with an excellent small Spar supermarket and takeaway but very peaceful too. Also excellent cafes/restaurants a short cycle away and Claudia kindly let us use all her bikes. Impeccably clean, really comfortable beds. Brilliant hot tub and super fun area downstairs perfect for teens! It could not have been any better for our short stay in the amazing Netherlands. Wonderful!

Wow! Nor and Mat’s cottage was the perfect escape. The most comfortable stay with picturesque views. The home was immaculate, and Nor and Mat have thought of everything—including toys and crafts for our 3 year old. Their communication and instructions were great, too. The location was wonderful too—a short drive to many restaurants and stores while still quiet and peaceful. We loved our time there!

Was already visiting twice and I will definitely come a third time as well. Always great at Sacha's! There is everything you need in the house & the location is amazing. Directly on the water, completely fenced for the dogs and simply cozy & quiet. Sacha was easy to reach during the stay and also before and is super friendly. Clear recommendation for the cottage ❤️

Angelique is a super host, very responsive and on hand if you need anything answered or help with directions etc. I have not encountered a better air bnb host :-) The water cottage is peaceful and restful and has everything you need. For Amsterdam you must be either prepared to drive or happy to walk just over 1.3 miles into the town. Its a 45 min bus into Amsterdam which is pretty regular or you can drive 15 mins to a train station and make your way in from there. We had no problem with this at all but some might be put off. However the location and quiet peace by the water was super and worth it!

We were in the Netherlands for the tulip blossom and were super satisfied with the accommodation. Our hosts were always available and friendly. We are more than happy to recommend the accommodation. Thank you again!

We enjoyed Frank's cottage. The cottage is equipped with every luxury and is nicely located in the green but also close to the center of Schoorl. We also used Frank's bikes with which you can get to the beach or the center of Bergen in no time. In short, enjoyed a week and certainly repeatable.

The apartment is very cozy and stylish. The amenities are as described and you will find everything you need. There is also games and reading material. The location is excellent, quite close to the sea and the dunes. We have been provided with a ticket for entrance to the dunes. Our bikes have been perfectly accommodated in the small courtyard. All in all, we enjoyed our vacation here and are very satisfied.

It was a warm welcome. Rachel immediately made you feel welcome. A clear explanation of the cottage. The cottage is truly top notch! Superb location with an orchestra of the birds. Really nice! And not to forget Charlie. Highly recommended.

The property is very picturesque on an agricultural farm surrounded by nature. The cottage is freshly developed and very tastefully furnished. We got to the center of Amsterdam easily and quite quickly by car and metro. Hetty responded immediately to any question and we were able to borrow bicycles from her very cheaply.

We had a great time at Jurian's place! The house is really cute, perfectly equipped and very pleasant to stay in. Jurian is an extremely available, responsive and thoughtful host, which made our experience even more fluid and warm. The village is charming, quiet, ideal for relaxing and enjoying nature. In short, a great experience that we would recommend without hesitation!

Nice little house typical of the Netherlands. Very well equipped and decorated, comfortable. Small pleasant garden. Erik and his family live there year-round so it is made to live in and it shows :-) A private parking space in front of the house and two bikes available. Very convenient for visiting the area by car or taking the ferry or metro to go to Amsterdam. The neighborhood is very quiet as it is quite far from the center of Amsterdam. To get to Amsterdam, the nearest bus is a 10-minute walk away. In total, it takes 30 to 40 minutes to reach Centraal Station by bus then metro or bike/car then ferry. Great welcome, very clean... In short, it's a perfect rental if you're looking for a quiet place near Amsterdam.

During the 4 days we were, we were very comfortable. The cleaning of 10! and has everything you need (including bikes to walk through the canals that are next to the house). We were able to leave our bags before check-in time. The house is 10 minutes from the airport and is an ideal option for visiting Amsterdam and its surroundings. A place to come back Thanks!

Excellent host and accommodation! Anne was very helpful and informative. The apartment perfectly suited our needs for a weekend cycling break. Within easy walking distance of the Ferry and then into the centre of Amsterdam.

My sister and I loved it. It was all the same as in the photos. Even better. Right on the water and you had your peace and quiet. The view was really heavenly and we were able to relax very well. I'd love to come back.

The apartment is very cool. It was perfect. The only thing is that it's a little far from downtown Amsterdam and not that easy to get to by public transport, but the area is very quiet.
