Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Stichtse Vecht

We were a group of 9 people for my sister's JGA. We were well received and even though the owners house was right next door, we had our space to ourselves. It's a beautiful area there. If you want to stay there in the area perfect, a bit cumbersome for a trip to Amsterdam but it was already possible. However, you have to plan at least 1 hour. However, we were very satisfied overall and can highly recommend the accommodation! It was wonderful and nice☺️ thank you so much!

Great house in idyllic surroundings. Plenty of space and nicely decorated. The veranda with views of the countryside was particularly liked. Everything you need. Lake in 2 min. Communication with the host was friendly and straightforward. If you want to go to the city, you can reach the center in about 30 minutes by bike.

Ultimately a "mobile home" as you know it from campsites - but right by the water, with its own terrace (from which you can jump directly into the water and swim), clean and quiet. Amsterdam and Utrecht (worthwhile!) in 30 minutes (by train or train) easily accessible. Check in was a bit difficult because no one was on site (phone number but outside at the reception). We felt very much, we would come back!

Enjoyed our time in the little houseboat, it’s small… but perfectly adequate for our family. Lovely surroundings and the most spectacular sunrises every morning! Would recommend

We enjoyed Barbara's house very much and especially that we had bicycles available with which we could ride to Amsterdam and the surrounding area. Since the house is the private home of Barbara and her children, it is also very personally decorated with photos etc. If that's too private for you, you should book something else - we thought it was great, because it makes you feel right at home! Barbara was on vacation herself, but check-in was super easy and there was a lot of helpful information and tips noted on slips in the house.

We would like to express our gratitude and delight for our stay at Paul's apartments. It was an amazing experience that left us with only the most positive impressions. From the moment we arrived we felt at home. The apartment was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Paul greeted us personally and gave us a fascinating tour of the property, telling us about the house rules and recommending local attractions. The apartment had absolutely everything we could need for a comfortable stay. Paul was an exceptionally friendly and helpful host. He was always ready to answer our questions. The houseboat was great and you couldn’t ask for a better host. Grace was very responsive whenever we had a question and was very understanding when a little mishap occurred. Hope to be back some day!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The house is exactly as shown in the photos – spotless, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The surroundings are calm and peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax. Near the center (the public transportation is a 5 minute walk away) The host was fantastic: very kind, super communicative, and always available if we needed anything. Everything was clearly explained, and he made sure we had access to all the amenities. This place is truly a hidden gem – the quality you get for the price is outstanding. Magda and Peter’s place was just as beautiful as promised. It was clean and comfortable, secure and private. Our hosts were helpful and responsive to our needs and requests. The fridge and cupboard was generously stocked on our arrival with enough food so we didn’t need to shop for a day or two. The suite fulfilled all of my husband and my needs for the month we were there. Highly recommend!

Excellent stay for 2 families. The garden with the view of the lake just magical. Very quiet. In the middle of nature and still close to shops and restaurants. Thanks for the loan of the bikes and boat. It was awesome to get around on the water. The area is beautiful and within reasonable distance of different cities to visit . Floris is a thoughtful host (Easter decor, welcome gifts...) and responded during the day to our messages. The house was very spacious and very clean. Authentic charm of an old farmhouse. We had a great time at Arjen's place. The house is very nice, very beautifully decorated, in a quiet area, ideal for a family of 4. Very nice very well equipped kitchen. The parking space is a real plus knowing that then you can go to the center of Amsterdam in 20 minutes thanks to the nearby tram station. The house must be very nice in summer with the terrace by the water. We hope to return and recommend this rental 100%!

Harold's cozy houseboat is ideal for a few days' stay in Amsterdam. By public transport you are super fast in the city center! The houseboat is cozily furnished and it's a little adventure to stay in if you're not used to it. Harold is very friendly and even gave us a fruit basket and a bottle of wine to welcome us!

A very nice place in which we had a great time! We came to 9 people and the house and amenities were quite suitable.

The accommodation is just outside Utrecht and unfortunately not so easily accessible by public transport. For this reason, we rented a car and had a great stay. The apartment belongs to a kind of "cottage park" and has direct access to the water. There is a large terrace where you can sit superbly in summer. The place was exactly as shown in the pictures and communication with the provider was very easy. All in all a great weekend for us

We spent great days in Vinkeveen. The place is just really beautiful and lovingly decorated, the surroundings made it perfect. The boat ride was an extra adventure for our daughter. The host (and Betsie) were super accommodating and very friendly. We felt completely comfortable!! We look forward to seeing you again!

We had a wonderful holiday cycling, boating and relaxing. The house is in a fantastic location and very private. Rik, the host, provided us with lots of restaurant recommendations and organized the hire of a boat for our two weeks. Communication was easy and excellent and the whole process was without drama. If you have not tried a holiday in the Netherlands (as we hadn’t) and you like fresh water swimming, great restaurants and drinks on a terrace watching the wildlife then this good be the place for you.
