This newly renovated cozy cabin is located in the middle of the forest in the Småland highlands. The cottage is close to hiking trails and lakes and by car close to the unique wooden town Eksjö, the moose park in Skullaryd and skurugata. If you want to go on a day trip, it's an hour to Astrid Lindgren's world. All of the rooms in the cottage are newly renovated with care to preserve the feeling of this soldier cottage from the 18th century. There are 4 beds and a sofa bed. Fishing is available as you have access to a boat about 1.5 km from the cabin.

Guest apartment in the countryside close to town

Peaceful accommodation in the countryside with a scenic environment where the lake is close for a swim for those who feel like it. The sheep graze in the meadow around the corner. The apartment is newly built and has all amenities. A crib/travel bed and high chair can be set up if desired. Only 10 minutes to the unique wooden town of Eksjö and about 45 minutes to both Jönköping and Vimmerby (Astrid Lindgren's world). The car can be parked right by the property. The bed is made and towels and bath towels are provided. Welcome!

Log cabin outside Jönköping overlooking Granarpssjön. You have access to the dock, swimming raft and boat (boat with electric motor 50 SEK/day) The lake is about 10 meters from the cabin. You'll even have access to the wood-fired sauna on the property. The accommodation is well-suited for families of up to 4 people. There are wonderful hiking/biking opportunities in the area. Taberg, a 15-minute bike ride away, has a nature reserve with several hiking trails. Jönköping is 15 km away. The property has its own patio.

We rent out our summer cottage at Stensjön, about 1 mil outside Nässjö. The cottage is located by lake Nömmen and has its own jetty and sandy beach. The cottage is perfect for a family or larger group as there are 6 beds. In the cottage there is a large living room with kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with shower and washing machine. There is also a loft with sofa and TV. On the plot there is a separate guest house with a double bed and a bunk bed (not wintery). Sauna is available in the garden for anyone who wants.

The house is built of wood from the same forest as the house is in and the insulation is wood shavings from floors and walls. For us, it is important to protect the ecological and local.

You will find your own jetty with a boat 100 meters through the forest from the cottage. A 3-minute walk away, you also have a beautiful public swimming area with a summer café. About 4 km from the cottage, there is a grocery store, pizzeria and train station.

Welcome to Älmesås! You will stay in your own little house on our farm. Within ten swedish miles you will reach Astrid Lindgrens Värld, Kosta Boda, High Chaparall among other nice places. You will stay in a very calm and quiet environment. If you take a walk, perhaps you will meet our nice Highland Cattles. You also can spend some time together with our bunny , four cats and the goats Iris, Diesel and texas. Perhaps you can get eggs from the chickens. The rooster Charlie says "Good morning"!
