Newly renovated cabin near Eksjö

This newly renovated cozy cabin is located in the middle of the forest in the Småland highlands. The cottage is close to hiking trails and lakes and by car close to the unique wooden town Eksjö, the moose park in Skullaryd and skurugata. If you want to go on a day trip, it's an hour to Astrid Lindgren's world. All of the rooms in the cottage are newly renovated with care to preserve the feeling of this soldier cottage from the 18th century. There are 4 beds and a sofa bed. Fishing is available as you have access to a boat about 1.5 km from the cabin.

Welcome, we offer our very own, small cozy farmhouse on our property in Höreda, close to the beautiful wooden town of Eksjö in Småland. It is quiet here in our small village, close to the forest & nature. We have a fully equipped house. Essentials such as toilet/paper towels, duvet, pillow, towels and bedding are included in the price. Cleaning is done by guest before checkout. The house should be left in the condition it was in when you checked in. We are happy to advise you about excursions and activities. Hope you enjoy staying with us.

Welcome to rent our guest house, with room for 6, possibly more guests. It is located about 20 meters from the beach. Here you have access to rowboat, canoe and also a wood-burning sauna. There are good opportunities for forest walks, swimming and fishing. On the property there are goats, chickens and dogs. Hopefully you won't be scared of dogs. They usually go loose on the grounds. The nearest store is in Sandsjöfors 4 km, Ekenässjön 12 km or in Vetlanda, Eksjö, Nässjö and Sävsjö, all located 25 km from Djuvanäs.

Guest apartment in the country close to town

Peaceful countryside accommodation with scenic setting where the lake is close for a swim for those who want. The sheep graze in the garden nearby. The apartment is newly built and has all amenities. A baby cot/travel cot and high chair can be set up if desired. Only 10 minutes to the unique wooden town of Eksjö and about 45 both to Jönköping and Vimmerby (Astrid Lindgren's world). The car can be parked right at the property. The bed is made and towels and bath towels are available. Welcome, welcome.

Welcome to Älmesås! You will stay in your own little house on our farm. Within ten swedish miles you will reach Astrid Lindgrens Värld, Kosta Boda, High Chaparall among other nice places. You will stay in a very calm and quiet environment. If you take a walk, perhaps you will meet our nice Highland Cattles. You also can spend some time together with our bunny , four cats and the goats Iris, Diesel and texas. Perhaps you can get eggs from the chickens. The rooster Charlie says "Good morning"!

The Guesthouse Uddebo is situated right by lake Rosjön, 10 km north of the pretty wooden town of Eksjö. Originally a traditional log cabin the guesthouse was renovated and extended in 2019. We were very lucky to spend some unforgettable days in this beautiful house by the lake near Eksjö – and it was simply heavenly! The house is in an absolute dream location right on the water. Waking up in the morning with a view of the mirror-smooth lake is priceless. The property is spacious, quiet and lovingly maintained – a perfect oasis for relaxing and breathing deeply. We sat on the terrace for hours, watching the sunrise over the water and just enjoying the peace and quiet. The house itself is cozy, clean and very well equipped – nothing is missing. Particularly noteworthy is the large window front overlooking the lake and the proximity to nature, which you can feel with every breath. A very special thank you also goes to Conny and his family – they were extremely friendly, helpful and always available. You not only feel welcome here, but in good hands all around. Really great hosts!

Morgan and Lotta are very nice and helpful hosts. They were always responsive and always took care of our well-being. The apartment is perfect for 2 adults and children, but there is only one separate bedroom. The apartment is very nice and corresponds to the photos. The terrace and the view on the lake are magnificent. The lake is not perfect for swimming as it is a bit overgrown on the floor, but a small swimming spot has been created to cool off. Stand up paddling and kayaking were possible all over the lake. The location is very quiet and you should even be able to see moose nearby, unfortunately we did not succeed. To get to Eksjö you already need a car. The location is well suited for day trips (e.g. moose park, Vimmerby, Väternsee). When cycling, gravel roads are to be expected. We enjoyed it very much!!!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage! The communication with the hosts was incredibly friendly and helpful from start to finish. The house was spotless and very well maintained, making us feel comfortable and at home right away. The view over the lake was absolutely breathtaking, and the level of privacy was exceptional — it felt like our own little paradise. One of the absolute highlights was the beautiful jetty right by the lake — the perfect spot for swimming, relaxing, and soaking in the peaceful surroundings. We’d definitely love to come back!
