Holiday rentals with breakfast in St Andrews

Fantastic stay. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you need. Hot tub was great and the garden was peaceful. Everything was spot on and communication was great! Will be back!

Bruce and Karen’s home was so peaceful and beautiful! They just put in new carpet and it’s beautiful so please be respectful and take off your shoes once in the studio. The bed was really comfortable and the bed even had a mattress cover that was an electric mattress cover! That was a lovely surprise even though the studio is very well insulated. Karen made some muffins and she even remembered that I’m a low diabetic 1 so she was so kind and put less sugar in the muffins and they were so delicious! The Lavender body wash and shampoo and conditioner that Karen left for us to use in the shower smelled so good and is all natural product as well! Karen gave us some great recommendations around town and we just felt at home in the neighborhood and loved our stay with them! We would definitely stay with them again! Lovely, clean bed, bathroom and living spaces. Great selection of breakfast items and host was very kind and responsive. On-site car parking was a bonus.

Moira and Stuart were generous hosts and made us feel right at home! Especially appreciated the delicious fresh cooked breakfast. Hope to stay with them again next time we’re in St Andrews!

This place was perfect for the six of us- and it even had a washer (one that could wash and dry!). We loved the artwork inside, too. The location was great, comfortable, and Trish helped with recommendations for food and travel. Street noise was no bother, though one must stick to the sidewalk when walking about.

We stayed at 63 Moubray Grove, South Queensferry for a Buissines trip and found the property well presented clean and tidy with all the modern amenities you could wish for in a quiet residential area. The property is easy to get to with local shops very close by also Dalmeny train station within an easy walk away. Nicky was extremely helpful and quick, easy communication.

Stayed with Leslie and Jamie for a couple of nights while attending a wedding in the area. Leslie met us on arrival and showed us around. The house was lovely and immaculately clean. Our bedroom and bathroom was comfy, clean and well equipped. We felt free to come and go, but Leslie and Jamie were also on hand when we needed. They were friendly and helpful. Recommended. Would happily stay again. Especially for the home made Scottish tablet and the rhubarb jam!

The Secret Orchard is a substantial, historic building. Fabulous inside, with modern fitting but still retaining many of the original features. Very comfortable beds. We particularly enjoyed the garden (Matt's tomatoes made me jealous). My wife thought the chickens, running free, were gorgeous.

Clean and cozy place, she left some eggs, milk and cookies that were really convenient. Comfortable bed!

We had a great stay, apartment location was superb. Close to the tram stop, car parks and walkable to shops, restaurants and the old town. Living room was spacious and a great space for us to hang out at the start and end of a long day. Appreciated that there were four rooms and four bathrooms which met our needs.

Can’t recommend this place enough, fantastic location with great views, lovely hosts and clean & tidy apartment. Easy access to Edinburgh and the airport, when I arrived I got a Taxi from the airport, if I’d have known how simple the tram/bus journey would have been I’d have done that, I did for my return journey. Local restaurants are lovely and welcoming (Saphire & Queens Spice), good pint in the Thirty Knots too! I arrived late in the day, to be welcome with bread and milk amongst other things was just wonderful, simple touch which went a long way! I would definitely return and recommend this to anyone looking Thank you to the host(s)

We highly appreciated the kind attention of Paul to put at our disposal fruits and breakfast food. That was very nice, especialy considering our very late arrival. Thank you Paul for your confidence

Very accommodating host and clean place.

Beautifully decorated and super clean place, well equipped with everything we needed for a few days but equally would have been great for a longer stay. We had a slight issue getting in as there was no phone signal so I had to go back to the town centre to get signal to check the lockbox code, so I’d advise future guests to save it offline somewhere! We’d definitely stay here if in the area again.

Carole's accommodation is absolutely recommended. You can reach everything on foot - both the city centre and Dean Village or Stockbridge and the Water of Leith Walk. The house itself is wonderfully furnished, every detail is right, everything is sparkling clean. Carole's breakfast in the beautiful kitchen is a joy every morning. The view of her garden - great! Well, and Carole herself is a very friendly and attentive person...

Stayed one night with Sue after our long hike from Anstruther on the Fife Coastal Walk. A lovely, cosy, 2 bedroom annexe to her home. Spotlessly clean, beds super comfy and shower was powerful and hot. Sue is a lovely, friendly host who made us feel very much that her home was to be shared and enjoyed. Which we did. Had a couple of drinks in her lovely garden, watching the bees and butterflies. Slept well in the spacious twin bedroom. Sue made a plentiful full breakfast in the morning with as much as we wanted. Would highly recommend a stay with Sue if you are visiting Kingsbarns. We had dinner in the village community Inn, which was excellent.

We really enjoyed this castle experience and David was very helpful and offered personalised suggestions that we really appreciated. We took his advice and it turns out they were excellent suggestions!! We didn’t have any issues but felt confident if we needed something that we would have experience very responsive communication.

Sheila and Ian are such wonderful hosts, my partner and I felt absolutely comfortable with them. They gave great recommendations about which places to explore in the area, and were incredibly welcoming and friendly. If you can stay with them, do!

Jo and Steve were so welcoming, nothing was an issue and their 0lace was just perfect for us. We absolutely loved it and cannot recommend then enough, it was just perfect.

stopped off to break up a journey from the highlands. We'd be more than happy to spend a week here!! Very welcoming hosts. Nothing to much trouble and very dog friendly. We'll be back. Ant & Sharon

Catherine’s home really was the highlight of the weekend. Herself and Lewis were the warmest, most welcoming hosts we could have wished for. The property was very easy to find, with plenty of parking spaces available directly outside. The property looked lovely and tidy from the outside. Catherine and Lewis made us feel right at home from the second we walked through the door. We were instantly shown to our room and the areas available to us. Every single room was absolutely spotless and presented beautifully. There genuinely was not a single complaint I could have made. Myself and my mum had travelled to Edinburgh for the marathon, and had not had the best time due to the organisation of the event, but knowing we had such a comfortable room in a lovely family home to go back to at the end of a long day made the day so much better. I really cannot fault Catherine’s property and would highly recommend it to anyone. I would happily return!

The perfect little cottage within walking distance to everything! And John was the perfect host! His entire family worked as a team to insure our stay was amazing. They communicated well, always had great recommendations, and provided everything we could possibly need. This cottage is so close to EVERYTHING! I can’t stress this enough. There’s a GREAT restaurant, quaint little shops, a bakery, a convenience store, local attractions, etc. literally across the street. And I’ll add, while the cottage is central to everything, just off the main road, it’s sooooo quiet. You can’t go wrong booking John’s place!
